I see there is only one review of Lang carpet and carpets cleaning, and that is a bad one I would like to state that I have had several rugs cleaned at Langs Always with positive results I have recommended it to many people, all of whom have thanked me for the great recommendation Please try them They are very qualified and secureI drive up from Easton Maryland to use their services

When [redacted] brought the rug to us for cleaning the following notations were made: soiled, spots, stainsWe thoroughly washed the rug with a mild detergent and waterWe do not use any chemicals in our cleaning process, such as "Upholstery Cleaner'" I spoke to [redacted] on the same day that she called to complain about the rugI offered to reclean the rug if she brought it backWe do not offer discounts if someone is not happy with the rug after our thorough cleaning but we always offer to reclean the rug if necessary

Review: On July 2. I picked up my kitchen carpet that I had taken to lang to be cleaned. It had quite a few stains and marks that needed to be removed and that is why I took it to lang as opposed to cleaning myself. When I brought the 8x9 rug home and opened it there were 3 very prominent stains that had not been removed. When my husband came home he grabbed a simple upholstery cleaner and removed the stains quite easily which indicated to me not much effort was made to remove the stains.

I called Lang x2 to get a response. When I finally did get a response and requested some type of refund, I was told repeatedly " if you bring it back we will reclean it". Since it was quite heavy the first time. I really didn't see that as a good solution.

In addition to not being satisfied with the rug cleaning, I was more insulted by the lack of customer service extended by the owner. As being a business owned myself I would have considered ". I am sorry that happened. What can we do to rectify this situation" an appropriate response ". We will not use or recommend Lang.Desired Settlement: I would like 1/2 of the $74 I paid to have carpet cleaned.
