With Stevens point Log homes we agreed to build the *** cabin Due to weather issues our schedule for all projects was pushed back Due to this the *** were not willing to wait We agreed to let them out of the contract and With Stevens Point Log homes they got a
different contractor Once this contractor took over we did not have any control over the budget or project If we were allowed to construct the cabin, we would have honored the contract amount and built the cabin for it We did give all out estimate numbers, material quotes, and contacts to the new contractor so they could use this infomation and not have to start from scratch They were also allowed to use the permits that I had already applied for
We received a $10,deposit for the project This project was spent on the project Below is a break down of how it was spent on the project The *** have received this breakdown
Material deposit to Stevens Point log homes$
Payment for septic test and design to AO Johnson $
Building permit paid to Kadleck $
Exterior doors purchase $
Office time, permit applications, material figureing, $
Plan design help, project
Project manager fee $ After we ended our work on the project, my
project manager still remained and worked with
the *** on the project She help with Kitchen
design, material ordering, interior selection including
interior doors and trim She also met the ***
in Lacrosse, wi and spent time at the distributors
going over selections and options with them These were services provided to them at their request
Total expenses $ (we are still waiting to see if there are any additional cost we are being charged for from Stevens Point log home
As you can see we spent the deposit on the *** project They received benefit and service from it I have provided the above cost breakdown to them

First off, weather was not an issue in the late startSecond, we only agreed to a new builder because we could not get Lange Bldrsto respond in any mannerAt the point of picking out cabinets, doors, etcwe met *** *** from Steven Point Log homes in La Crosse. We had nothing to do with Lange Bldrsand had no help from his office staff, even though he sent her to the site. Stevens Point log homes can verify this and substantiate this. As far as any benefit of the bid or plans, that was a joke as Lange under bid everything and even had the plans wrong in room height , shingles, flooring, and more. We even have a Credit memo from Lange showing he owes us $840.00, which he now conveniently says was used for project manager fees. Then he also padded the bill by allowing $payment for his secretary to show up in La Crosse which was not our request. Also he did not pay for any additional permits. He is a liar and a manipulator. I figure he owes us the $he bogusly charged for consultation and the $he bogusly charged for management fees. AT THE VERY LEAST!! Nothing he did was correct, nothing he did was legitimate. He should, at least, be a man and own up to his errors and reimburse. Bad enough we had to deal with him in the first place

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
After filing a complaint with the Revdex.com regarding Lange Builders, case [redacted], Mr. [redacted] contacted us after the case was closed and ask if we would accept the $810.42 credit balance and be satisfied to resolve this matter.
 
We did accept his offer and received a check from him for that amount.  There are so many issues in this case, but we are willing to close it as “resolved” since he did at least refund our credit amount.

I live in Southwest Wisconsin and last summers our town was flooded out by 20 inches of rain in two days.  The town have a lot of damage, my home was damaged, and a building site we were working on was almost totally destroyed.  I would be glad to put you in contact with this homeowner and they can explain how much damage was done.  So just because the weather was nice at the building site, that does not mean we were not delayed by  weather.  Please have your facts rights before calling someone a liar.
 
Also, my assistant [redacted] did meet with them at Lacrosse at their request.
