[redacted] = [redacted] per day [redacted] x = [redacted] However, when we spoke on the phone you stated that you approved my date move out notice which was dated to 2/but I stated to you that I had moved out on 1/& signed a lease in IndianapolisOnce that was said you stated that okay once the keys are turn in on the 9th I will receive my full security deposit in the mail for [redacted] However, I didn't receive a check for [redacted] instead it was [redacted] It's a shame how I've been a good tenant for 3yrs living there & throughout that time frame I revived bad service & now that I moved out it's still the same resultI will make it known that Equity Property Management is the worst property owners because you all are slum lords, I delt with my apartment being infested with bees over the summers, somehow on to occasions bats were in my apartment, my 5yr old son closet doors fell off the hinges & almost fell on him while he was playing with his toys in his room, but by the grace of GOD it missed him & hit the wallNevertheless, less than a month in a 1/or after I moved in my bathroom wall caved in an water bursted through the wall flooding my bathroom floorAlso black mold developed in my bathroom closet & all the maintance man was sent to paint over itThose are the reasons why I moved because I couldn't take it anymore, Equity Property Management are nothing but slum lords & don't keep up their property like their supposed to & allow any & everybody to come stay in the apartments

Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 8, 2015/10/08) */ Dear ***: According to our property records, Ms [redacted] did sign a lease with [redacted] on April 15, There were several items that need attention upon move InThese included several of the items that she has mentioned in her complaintOur records Indicate that our staff completed several work orders for MsTaylor between her move in date and September 17th, prior to her most recent call back on her kitchen ceiling leak in September_ These included prior calls regarding her kitchen ceiling leakingAs it is not uncommon to have to "troubleshoot leaks, several attempts were made to address the leak, When Ms [redacted] contacted our office about her ceiling leak again on September 15, our Maintenance Supervisor and Director of Maintenance responded togetherPer our DOM, there was no visible water leaking at the time, When Ms [redacted] was advised that they would again attempt to fix the leak, she indicated to them that she was not interested in having it repaired again or having her ceiling torn out while she lived thereIt was at this point that she advised them she wanted to transfer to another unitOur DOM and Maintenance Supervisor proceeded to try and locate a unit for her that would be acceptable for a transferThey located a unit several doors down from MsTaylor, which she was agreeable toThe DOM and Maintenance Supervisor at the time were unaware, however, that this unit had already been rented to someone elseMs [redacted] was very upset, but after a discussion with the Regional Manager, she had indicated that she wanted to move to a bedroom apartment A bedroom unit was placed on hold for herIt was several days later that Ms [redacted] called to advise us that the ceiling had now fallen and that she no longer wanted to transfer but that she wanted to he released from her leaseHer leak was repaired by an outside contractor and our current Property Manager began working With Ms [redacted] to schedule a transferNo discoloration was discovered in her apartment at any time, Initial Consumer Rebuttal / [redacted] (2000, 10, 2015/10/09) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) Although no bedroom was placed on hold for me and there absolutely WAS discoloration in my current unit, I have been forced to stay in the complexThe other bed units looked not so appealing and cheapThe bed I will be moving into was previously occupied by a huge dog and the smell may not come out any time soon, which is a concern in my current unit that smells of cat urine from the previous residentsI will finish my lease because I can't afford it on my credit ,but definitely will NOT resign a lease

In less than months Castleton Manor has had to replaced management times, many leasing agents, and maitananceWithout consistancy within a company positive outcomes are fewRepairs were complete to the ceiling and roof 6/3/15,not 5/30/as stated by the company per documental photos I have saved for my personal recordsWhile completing work the contractors broke the blinds in the location being repairedThe office was notified 6/3/and once again no repairs have been madeIt is not the tenants responsibility to constantly remind staff of there role and responsibilities as a property manager, leasing agent, or maintanance team member when it comes to making sure all grounds and units needing repairs receive proper attention,to make sure their tenents are able to come home to a place they are proud to call "home" and relaxI do not except the company's responseThe issue at hand is time and time again Castleton Manors staff/management team severely lack a sence of urgency when it comes to completing work ordersIt should never take more than 72hrs to complete a workorder

I accept their response because they are not only honoring my 30 day notice move out request but they are also refunding me my [redacted] security deposit. However, I would like to know how is my [redacted] security deposit going to be refunded to me & when will it be refunded ?

Although no 1 bedroom was placed on hold for me and there absolutely WAS discoloration in my current unit, I have been forced to stay in the complex. The other 3 bed units looked not so appealing and cheap. The 2 bed I will be moving into was previously occupied by a huge dog and the smell may not come out any time soon, which is a concern in my current unit that smells of cat urine from the previous residents. I will finish my lease because I can't afford it on my credit ,but definitely will NOT resign a lease.
