I paid for two nights stay from December 30, checking out January 1stWhen my girlfriend and I arrived, there was no one in the office, our key was in an envelope outside, and the room was as cold as it was outside, so we turned the thermostat up before we left for the wedding for which we were there to attendWhen we got back, the room was still as cold as it was outside, and at this point in the night it was near or below freezing, certainly not a livable conditionPrior to our stay, I had tried calling the motel over times to ask questions but was never able to speak to someoneI did leave a message at one point but never heard backGiven that I had reached out so many times yet had never spoken to someone there and it was pm, we didn't think that it'd be possible to get it fixed

following day 12/31/16 New Years Eve, I received 3 calls from his number at 10:52am and twice at 10:53am however no voicemail was received.  The following day, when it was too late to re rent the room, which I am confident I could have, I received an email stating they had left the day before and chose not to return.  The email claimed they could not get the heat to work.  The following day I went in to clean the room and upon entering it was very clear the heat was working VERY efficiently.  Once I established that there was in fact no problem with the heat, as stated by Mr. [redacted] as a valid reason for a refund, I chose not to refund Mr. [redacted]'s New Years Eve stay with us.  I never received a voicemail and the email was not sent in a timely fashion preventing me from re renting the unit.  I ALWAYS work with people when dealing with cancellations and rarely charge any fees.  I do not know why they were unable to work the heat.  I have my cell phone on me 24/7 and if a voicemail was in fact left I return calls as quickly as possible.  Gina C[redacted] 360-969-2414 The Langley Motel 526 Camano Avenue Langley, Wa. 98260
