Very courteous tech arrived to access my heat/ac unit. Found a leak at a joint in line that could be repaired. Then came the estimate of repair $855 to repair leak and recharge with 8lb. R22 Freon. The freon was quoted at an astronomical amount. I paid the $79 diagnostic charge, called a competitive company that charged me $335 for the entire job. And it only took 5lb. R22 instead of 8 and at a much lower price per pound. CAN YOU SAY PRICE GOUGING???? I give the tech a 10 but the company gets a zero rating from me.
I want to say that they kept their scheduled date of service and was on time. The technician was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain in detail exactly was service he performed and gave me recommendation and info on items I may need to change out in the future in order for my A/C units to perform to the their maximum capacity. Thanks to the office personnel as well as the technician - job well done
