Agreed on a price on a Honda Civic with the salesman (Marcus W [redacted] ) via emailsSeveral weeks later when the car came in, he notified me via email that his general manager informed him that Honda had a price increase of $I responded that, in writing, we had agreed on a price and he needed to bring that to the attention of his general managerAnd if they did not honor the deal we made than I would look elsewhere After thinking about it, I went on American Honda's website to check the MSRPThere was no increase in the priceAlso, I checked with another dealer, no price increaseIt was apparent that there was no increase, Shadyside was just trying to get more money from me after agreeing on a price The salesman got back to me and said that the general manager would honor the price we agreed onI bought the car elsewhere because of their unethical efforts to get more money from me I went online to Shadyside Honda's website and sent an email to a MrHorn, who the websi

Two years ago we had rusting problems with my wife's Honda Pilot on the tailgate We took it into Shadyside Honda, they took pictures of the rust, and we called back to schedule the service My wife had to drop it off at another facility for service The turnaround time was three days No issue there
~ months ago, rust came back in the same spot I called Barry B*** (service manager) and said no problem, there is a lifetime warranty on all work done We scheduled the service with the body shop but unfortunately could not make the appointment No work completed
Two weeks ago I noticed rust spots scattered all over my wife's SUV within that time, I have placed three phone calls to Barry directly and left messages each time stating that this is a systemic issue with the SUV just not localized with the tailgate I have received no call back in ~ weeks
I need this issue permanently resolved Taking my wife's SUV in every 1-years for rust resolution

I leased a new Honda CRV from Rohrich HondaHad constant problems with car not startingHad to get the battery jumped at least a dozen times, I took the vehicle to Rohrich Honda's service department many, many timesThey said nothing was wrong with the vehicle, and then a week later the car wouldn't startI missed important appointments, paid for Ubers, missed a vacation, lost business, and suffered a financial loss because of it, and have been greatly inconvenienced by this totally unreliable defective vehicle--basically a lemonAt one point Rohrich's service department said the problem was the alternator and replaced itA week later the car would not startAfter about months of car randomly not starting I did not call AAA bit rather called Rohrich and told them I wanted them to tow this vehicle to their service department and figure out what was wrong with itThey towed the car that Monday morningBy the next afternoon no one from service department had called meIn fact, I had to call them every day and was told they found nothing wrong with the car and they were still problem solvingBy the end of the 4th day I called American Honda and was advised by them to call the sales manager at RohrichI did call him and he asked me to come in to discussHis solution was to "put me into a new lease"I was so desperate and relieved to never have to drive that defective vehicle again that I agreedAt this point I had missed five days of my vacation because of the defective CRVThe thing I can't wrap my mind around is that Rohrich Honda required that I pay off the lease on the CRV "lemon" I had been drivingHow is this fair? I have repeatedly sent detailed correspondence to the Sales Manager and General Manager requesting a refund of the money I paid for the lease pay-off on the defective CRV and have been ignoredOne more thing: the sales manager stated that putting me into the new lease helped him meet his monthly sales quota since it was the last business day of the monthSo Honda wins in every wayThey are very good at selling cars and that's where it endsThis was my first Honda and first experience with Rohrich and will be the last for both

A couple of Fridays ago I visited the sales department to inquire about purchasing a new car I was waiting near offices in the front when I overheard a conversation between two of the people in the office (identified through the website as *** *** and *** ***) where they referred to African Americans as "***" "***," and "***" I was terrified I cannot believe that people like this still exist in the world, yet alone work in a neighborhood as diverse as Bloonfield Initially I did not want to say anything because everybody has a bad day and maybe they were just venting After going to Church today and praying about it, I cannot sit by Needless to say while these people are employed there I will not buy a car from Rohrich and I may never buy one again I would avoid this business while this kind of behavior is tolerated

Car randomly does not start dealer service team found no issue finally gave me a new battery Less than years later car starts doing the same thingIssue two shortly after purchasing the Honda civic there was a shimmy while driving fast or slowDealer couldn't find anything, it the pressure in the tire, repeat trips to the service dept then the problem was with the tires they were pretty sureI had to put tires on myself because they were offering a discount but no tire protection planThe shimmy being identifiable shortly after purchasing the car was needed to be covered certified used
