On May 13th 2016 at 07:24 p.m. she received guest at her room, to have Guest at your room while Logging on Echo Voucher is a Violation of Echo Inc. Rules for Logging at Lannon stone Motel. She was given a call from the manger and she didn’t answer. Manager went to the room and informed her about the rules, He asked either the guest leaves or she has to check out because she was in violation of Echo rules. Some other problems are easily seen when you use the bed, and if the bed was dirty then anyone don’t like to sleep and would inform the management right away. As far as the heat goes the buildings is controlled by central heating which supplies heat to 12 rooms. Why did only her room have no heat and all other 11 rooms has heat. Some of them wanted to turn the heat down 7 rooms in specific. Truth is all of this problems were created just because she was asked to leave because of violation of the Echo voucher rules. Review: I had received a voucher from echo for 7 night stay at lannon stone motel because I am currently homeless. I had checked into the property on Thursday may 12 at noon when I proceeded to the room they rented to me I walked in to find the room in complete disrepair. There were stains all over the carpeting, the floor was sticky, food and dirt all over the walls, power strips with an overabundance of plugs plugged into it, broken outlet covers with exposed wires in which my 1 year old autistic son almost stuck his hand in, smoke detectors with no batteries, an awful indescribable odor in which I left a window open for over 24 hours and even then it still had a horrible smell, bugs in the room, and bedding that had stains and looked as if they weren't changed in quite some time, and no working heat in the room. When I had confronted the owner of the property and showed him all the safety and health violations and asked him to correct the problems and repair the room his response was that there was nothing wrong with the room and he didn't care and I needed to leave the premises even though it was paid through for 7 nights by the echo program.Desired Settlement: I had contacted and left a message with the rock county health department reporting health and safety violations and believe that if the owner is refusing to correct said violations legal action needs to be taken so he understands that there are certain codes that have to be followed as a property owner and that no one should have to live in unsafe or unhealthy living conditions no matter what their current living situation is. This establishment is an accident waiting to happen and it makes me uneasy to see this type of professional establishment being allowed to rent out unsafe rooms to anyone. His complete disregard to his customers makes me feel very uneasy and remorseful to those who are currently staying there in these implorable conditions. I have also contacted the health department and social media with photos and videos of the conditions and will continue to persue the matter until corrective action is taken.
