No problem with communication when their getting money from you, but when it comes time to actually show for the party you have paid for and worked weeks to surprise your husband with they don't even have the decency to [redacted] show up. No phone call, no email, NOTHING!! The [redacted] who runs this place Jason V***, also runs [redacted] , or [redacted] , or whatever they are calling themselves. I would imagine their intention of opening multiple websites and calling themselves a diff name is because they have had so much bad business, that that is their tactic to keep business coming in. Can't get a returned call to get my deposit back, nor a returned email. I should've known these guys would be a huge let down when they couldn't even build a proper excel file to provide me with a quote, or they have a bout 5 websites up that all look like garbage. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE IS!! I hope I see them at the bridal shows I'll be with my sister in law at, I'll be the crazy lady ensuring no bride does business with them. Never, ever call Lansing Party Bus (lansingparty.com) for your party bus or transportation needs. We had a group of over 30 people going to a Lion's game yesterday and the entire trip was a nightmare.
The bus was late and arrived in absolutely abhorrent condition. The bathroom had a stench so bad you could smell it from the front of the bus, and there was a sharp metal corner hanging from the ceiling in the middle of the bus. The first stop the driver took us to was to fill the bus up with gas - using my friend's credit card (not sure if that was the arrangement, but seems very bizarre in my opinion). Shouldn't that be taken care of before he picked us up?
The ride to the game was terrifying. The driver didn't seem to have much practice and continually sped up and slowed down for no reason, and also swerved about every 15 minutes or so. I'm a little nervous in cars, but his driving was objectively bad.
On the way home, we got about 20 minutes down the road before we heard a terrible noise and smelled burning rubber. After pulling off to the side of the highway then slowly getting back on during a bunch of traffic, we pulled off to a park and ride in Redford. The driver had no idea what was going on and it became clear that we weren't going anywhere anytime soon.
We were in that parking lot for four hours when I fortunately had a friend pick me up on her way home. In total, it was over seven hours between when the bus broke down and my friends got back to their final destination in Lansing. Lansing Party Bus had another bus in Lansing, but claimed they only had two drivers available that night. If I were the owner of that business, I would have done whatever I could to get us home safe - and not 6 hours after the bus broke down.
Completely unacceptable. Do not go with Lansing Party Bus. Ever.
