Review: I purchased a car from Lapalco Motors in February. When my first payment was due, [redacted], a salesman employed there, told me to bring it to the dealership. He claimed I am supposed to make the first payment to the financing company through the dealership (I later learned this wasn't true). I made the first payment on March 23 with a money order from my bank. They gave me a receipt and I went on my way. About two weeks later the finance company began calling my phone . When I answered, the rep from the company informed me that my account was seventeen days delinquent. I informed the finance company that I had already made the first payment through Lapalco Motors. They said they hadn't received it yet. I immediately called Lapalco Motors to find out what happened to the initial payment I made. After hours of phone tag, I got in touch with [redacted] and told him what was going on. He told me to call the accounting department the next day to get it straightened out. I called the next morning and spoke to [redacted]n the "accounting department". She told me that the finance company had to call Lapalco Motors. I called the finance company and they told me that Lapalco Motors had to call them because they could not release customer information. [redacted] stated she would call the finance company "when she gets the chance." All the while the delinquent days on my account with the finance company are adding up. After several stall tactics and numerous pledges to "get things straightened out", my account with the finance company is thirty days delinquent and has been reported to the credit bureau. [redacted] continues to claim that he has no knowledge of what happened to the missing payment. I am currently pursuing this matter.Desired Settlement: At the very least,I want Lapalco Motors to reimburse me for my first and second car payment and any late fees that occur. If any fees or dues are required to dispute the late payment on my credit report, I request that they cover that expense as well. Also, at a recent oil change I was informed by a mechanic that I need new breaks, break pads, and a new battery. Lapalco Motors should cover that expense as well. Last but certainly not least, I want formal charges brought up against LM .

Review: Purchase car in June of 2015 car stop on me while at my job in September. I purchase a warranty on car and motor had to be broken down as per the warranty to see if the motor was under warranty. I was told due to the seating falling cause damage to the cylinders which is not covered. I had motor replaced and car worked for 1 day and I put car in shop about a week ago and I was told that computer module needed to be replace. I got car back last Tuesday (3-8-2016) after putting out 800.00 dollars and car had to be tow last Friday (3-11-2016) back to the shop. Waiting on phone call from the shop to see what is the out come.Desired Settlement: Take car back and give a refund to put a down on some esle. I have a very sick son that has to go to children hospital twice a week and I can transport him due to unreliable transportation; as well as my job. Lapalco Motors are asking me for money down on a car to rent to own. I do not have money to go give away. I have to pay for a car that I can not go from a to b.
