The crew with LaPlant Metal Roofs have been properly trained by Craig LaPlant who is a certified Gerard installerer They know and followed all Gerard install guidelines Home inspectors aren't trained in Gerard installation guilines so are not proper judges of what is right or wrong with an install There is nothing wrong with this install I will wait to hear more from Gerard as I am not allowed on this property I really wanted to see the soffit issue happening as that is the only way for me to discern why it is happening I suspect during the soffit repair that snow/ice/water got inside and did a one time melt

Tell us why here...in response to Rick [redacted] , we installed a Gerard roof on his house in 2013, at the the time he expressed concerns about the roof that the builder installed previously on his housecondensation, leaks, etcwe removed the roof and addressed all the issuesWe agreed on a payment plan, which he made until he stopped because he claimed there was a leak, not truethis house is a log home which when built, and insulated, it was not done properly therefore he has condensation during the winter monthsThis has nothing to do with the roof! Metal roofs don't leak! Do note that he did have trouble trying to get the builder to fix his problem, so now he is trying to make this my problem! ( [redacted] I believe is the builder)Do note that his soffits are dripping during the winter months and probably have been since the home was built, boards don't rot in that short amount of time! I would really like to take pictures to prove my claimas to mr [redacted] claim to have paid me in full is a lie! He still owes me $1, (Warranty does not apply unless paid in full) I think it's really a shame that a person like him can cause so much stress on a business owner like myself, when in fact he can just decide not to pay me anytime he wants too! And constantly harass me because of his own issuesmore to follow
