I ordered a battery and they sent me a defective oneI shipped it back to them and they confirmed that they received it but did not credit a refundI emailed again and they say they issued a credit but I never got oneI have wasted so much time and money with this companyA total rip off

I had a horrible experience with Laptop Battery One. After working with them my problem went unresolved and I had to eat the $80 I spent on a battery. Stay away!! Do NOT order from them. There are better companies. I allowed them multiple opportunities to make it right and they ignored me. This is a link to a video I sent them of my battery falling out. I am not a disgruntled customer. But I am warning you, do NOT purchase from them.

Review: Hi,I ordered a laptop battery ([redacted]) that was advertised as a replacement for the [redacted] battery. When I received it, I found it did not fit in my laptop, which previously had an original [redacted] battery.I contacted the merchant and requested a refund. Instead they sent me another battery of the same type which again did not fit.I contacted them again, and they agreed to refund my order, so I shipped both batteries back to them. Two weeks passed by and I have yet to receive my refund. I called them, and they are claiming they already issued a refund for around $16 dollars On January 2. My actual order that they had charged me was $28.50 (plus the cost of returning the batteries was about $5.50).It is January 6 and I have yet to see any refund. They are claiming that I ordered the wrong battery when it was clear that they had falsely advertised this battery as a replacement for my current battery. And now they are playing games.Desired Settlement: I would like my total amount refunded. And I want them to stop falsely advertising this battery as a replacement for the [redacted] battery.

Review: I purchased a replacement battery for my laptop along with an extra 2 year warranty for replacement. The battery was received but worked for only a few weeks before failing to recharge. I contacted the vender via email and received an [redacted] However, the website further stipulates that you must purchase a shipping and handling receipt from them or they will not honor the replacement. I did this via [redacted] but a shipping and handling slip was never sent. I have emailed the vendor since and they have never sent me the postage. They have never allowed me to log back into my online account with their company. It is impossible to log back into the account if you have forgotten your password. Its clear from trial this is intentional. I have called multiple times and I get forwarded around until they just put me on hold indefinitely. This is a scam and a fraudulent company.Desired Settlement: I want to have my original purchase price, the extended warranty fee and all SH charges refunded. I also want the additional postage and handling fee returned. This amounts to $101.89 in total.

Review: After reviewing the Laptop Battery One website, I ordered a replacement laptop battery for a laptop I was giving a family member. I then decided I also wanted to send a cooling pad because the system may not have had an Intel processor installed. I found a relatively inexpensive option and added it to my cart. When I attempted to check out, the item was listed at a price higher than that which was advertised. I immediately instituted a chat with a representative of the company. I explained my problem. The agent informed me that I would receive a response. I inquired as to if the method would be email and was told "yes." After several days of not receiving a response I sent an email to the email address listed on the company's website asking for clarification of the price and to be able to purchase the item at the price listed rather than the inflated price. The company has repeatedly refused to respond to my request. I was extremely surprised to learn that they continue to advertise the item at the lower price while it lists itself at the inflated price once it hits the cart.Desired Settlement: The company needs to fix their website. To compensate me for the inconvenience caused, I feel the least the company can do is to send me the mispriced item free of charge.

Review: In Nov 2013 I purchased Laptop Replacement Battery For Apple A1281, 15" New Alum Unibody MacBook Pro Series, Li-Polymer, 10.8V, 4200mAh, 45wHr, 6 Cells for $64.95. Upon receiving the battery my laptop would randomly shut down (every few hours) while I was in the middle of doing work even when plugged in. I reinstalled the original battery and things were fine. I then forgot about the new battery I purchased (a few weeks) and finally sent it back for an exchange which was outside their refund period which was fine because I only wanted a new battery that worked so an an exchange was ideal. Even though the product THEY SOLD ME was defective they told me over the phone and over email that I was responsible for paying the shipping to get the battery back to them and I'm also responsible for paying $8 shipping for them to get a new one to me! so we're now at $81 and I still don't have anything that works. I revived the new battery in a timely fashion (which I was happy about) and I had the same problem with it as before. My laptop would randomly shut down. Since my old battery worked I went out and purchased a new battery from Apple and had no issues. In doing so I emailed customer service from LaptopBattery 1 and explained that I was having the same problem with the replacement battery they sent me as I did with the first one and I would now like a refund since that is already 2 batteries they have sent me which are defective or incompatible with my laptop. I revived an email saying they are sending A THIRD BATTERY. I again explain I don't have the time to go back and forth with this any longer and would simply like a refund. When I received the battery in the mail I "returned to sender" along with paying another shipping charge to get the 2nd defective battery back to them. so we're now at $88. I heard nothing from them for 2 weeks until I emailed customer service and the response I received back was that there is nothing they can do since it was outside there return period.Desired Settlement: I'd like a refund of the original $64.95 plus the charge I had to pay to get them to ship me the second battery ($8) plus the shipping I had to pay at the post office to send them back the 2 defective batteries. ($8 + $8)... $88.95 in total.

Review: I ordered a replacement battery for my laptop from Laptop Battery One in June of this year. When I received the battery, it did not fit properly in my computer and would not charge. I contacted Laptop Battery One and was told I needed to try several things before I could return it. I tried those things, and nothing worked. I contacted them again for authorization to return the battery. I contacted them several times with no response. When they finally responded, the 60 day return period had expired. However, Laptop Battery one acknowledged that they had record of my emails, and told me to return the battery for a refund. When they got the battery, I received an email stating no refund could be issued because of the time that had expired. I was told I could only exchange. They then charged me $8 to ship a replacement. But, they didn't ship it until 5 weeks later. I had to contact them three times to get the battery shipped. Now this battery doesn't work either and they again will not allow me to return the battery. They said "it's been too long". Their batteries are obviously not going to work with my HP laptop, they are a very cheap knock-off, and I want my original purchase price ($36.90) and the additional $8.00 back. It's not fair for a company to just ignore you until the return period has expired, then deny your return. Please help me to get my $45 back so I can buy a good replacement battery that will actually fit and work. Thank you!Desired Settlement: $45.00 total.$36.90 original purchase price$8.00 shipping charged for replacement battery

Review: I ordered a battery for my laptop based off the companies suggested battery based on the model number I gave them at the time of my order when I received the battery it was not the correct battery at which time I contacted the company they asked me for the model number again at which time they informed me they don't carry the correct battery how they didn't know that when order it I don't understand so with the return I had to pay the cost of the return (SH) and they charged me a 5% restocking feeDesired Settlement: I should not have had to pay shipping & handling or a restocking fee because I believe it was there fault

Review: I contacted Laptop Battery One to return a product. Their procedure is to create an RMA. The customer service agent I spoke with stated that he would create an RMA & send it to me by email today. I have not yet received the RMA. I contacted them via email & they have not responded. I looked at the company reviews & they have many reviews stating they don't honor returns despite the fact that the website states they return within 30 business days.Desired Settlement: I expect Laptop Battery One to create their RMA & allow me to return the product that they sent me, which does not fit in my laptop despite my laptop model matching the listing of the battery that I ordered.

Review: I purchased a battery that proved to be defective within the 12 month warranty period. I contacted Laptop Battery One about the defect and they issued me a return authorizationnumber (#[redacted]) which I included upon and inside the return package which was sent and received by Laptop Battery One on 04/03/14 at 8:30am according to the US POSTAL SERVICE.I contacted the company via their Live Chat feature on their website (their listed PH# is notvalid from arizona) about 6 days after they received the return. I received a message via the livechat that I would be contacted concerning the return status of a replacement for the warranted defective battery that was returned. I never received a phone call, they have not contacted me,and I also sent them an EMAIL and have received no communication via EMAIL or by MAIL fromLaptop Battery One concerning replacement of the warranted defective battery. I originally purchased the battery from them on 06-20-13, order#[redacted].Desired Settlement: The quality of the brand battery that I purchased I believe to be very bad because the batterythat I originally purchased had not been used, it was kept as a reserve unit, in case of a failureof my normally used unit. Apparently they only replace an item once, so if I receive anotherdefective unit they won't replace it. Their lines of communication are not sufficient to uphold their advertised customer care claims.

Review: I ordered a battery for my Dell laptop. The battery I received did not fit properly into my computer. I requested a return, the company emailed me return information, including a mailing label. I returned the battery as per their instructions and have yet to receive a replacement or acknowledgement that they have received mu returned battery.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive the replacement battery that fits properly or a refund for the product.
