Review: I ordered 2 laptop batteries and 2 laptop keyboards. the keyboards and one of the batteries worked but one of the batteries was the wrong model and it wouldn't charge over 34%. I have left numerous emails trying to resolve this matter and they haven't even responded to my emails. I have tried to call but I get the voicemail and I cant leave a voicemail because it is full. they say in their return policy that you have to have a rma# before you can return a item, but I cant even get in touch with them to get the information.Desired Settlement: I would like to get the correct battery that I ordered, one that will work in my laptop. if they cant provide one then I would like a refund.

Review: Purchased a replacement laptop keyboard from this company. Received the product but it was damaged and broken.

It was shipped in a piece of cardboard and put into a paper envelope. Mind you the item is very fragile, it was not secured to the cardboard and could slide around during the transit process which caused damage to the keypad, keys broken off, the back metal support structure bent corners ect. Contacted the company immediately that day by email as the return policy procedures requires to obtain an RMA # for returning the damaged item. Placed order on 2/*/16 received on 2/*/16 it now has been over 14 days and no response from them, even though they say they will be in contact with you within 12 hrs of receiving your emailDesired Settlement: Just want the money back

Review: I ordered a keyboard for my laptop which is a Dell XPS M1530 on December **,2013. The advertised keyboard was the exact layout as mine except it was black which is exactly what I wanted. When it arrived I noticed that it was a different keyboard than advertised. The keyboard layout is very different than the one I have, specifically the function keys are very different which will not work for my laptop. Sure I could install the keyboard that they sent me but the symbols on the function keys are not correct and would only lead to confusion which is why I specifically ordered the one advertised on there site. So I went through their process of providing pictures and detailed information of the problem I was having several times because they kept asking me over and over for the same information I had already given them. My request was to just exchange the keyboard they sent me with the one I had ordered or else give me a refund if they didn't actually have that keyboard. I had to send pictures several times and actually highlighted the differences between the two keyboards which clearly showed how it was not compatible with my specific laptop. Still they insisted that I install the keyboard because they said they researched it and said it was a compatible keyboard. But it isn't because my key layout is different and the functions of the keys are specific. I even sent them a URL to the advertised keyboard on their site in one of my emails but they still want more detailed information as to why the one they sent me wont work. The bottom line now is that it's not the keyboard I ordered, if I wanted the one they sent me I would have ordered that one.Desired Settlement: At this point I would just like my credit card to be credited for the purchase amount. I have bent over backwards to try and resolve this with them. I've sent them another email requesting a RMA# (which is one of their policies) so that I can return the keyboard and I still haven't received anything.

Review: I ordered lap top battery on Nov. [redacted] 2013 from Laptoptown website. their description was the exact battery that I needed. I used [redacted] to purchase through. I received from both that the payment had been made. I received an email from Laptoptown that my order was shipped. I received my battery Nov. *, 2013. The battery was not even remotely close to what I ordered. I tried one email they had and it did not work. I tried another and could not tell if it worked. So, I filed a complaint through [redacted]. I then replied to their original email. I got a response saying that I should have contacted them before [redacted]. they wanted pictures of the box, of the battery they sent, a picture of my original battery with numbers, they wanted my model number. I not only sent them all this I also sent them a link to their very own website that has the battery I ordered. On Nov. *, they emailed me to say that it is the weekend and they will offer a solution Monday Nov. **. I replied back saying OK but I expect a response. On Nov. ** at 8:42 CST I emailed them and said I need a resolution by 10:00 am CST. It is now 4:30 CST and still no response. At 10:50 a.m. I contacted my Credit Card company and opened a dispute.Desired Settlement: At this point I do NOT want to do business with them. They cannot be trusted so they need to provide a complete refund to my credit card or directly to me. My credit card company is going after them if they do not offer a acceptable resolution. Also, if they want back their worthless no name battery they need to provide a prepaid shipping to have it sent back.

At this time, I have been contacted directly by LaptopTown regarding complaint ID [redacted], however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Yes, the company usually after a week or so will email me back. Several things I did was opened a dispute with [redacted] and I had my credit card company dispute and charge back with [redacted]. The company refused to to send a refund or a return label unless I closed the [redacted] dispute. My response was that [redacted] does not recommend that unless I have received refund. Laptown refused. So, I closed the dispute and emailed them and told them that I just needed a return label as I have already received my money from my credit card company. Then [redacted] showed that their account had been charged back. The company did not respond for another week. in the mean time I sent their wrong battery back to them at my expense. I then emailed them that I received notice that their account had been charged back and that they had received their battery back. Another week they responded as to say that they received the battery back but I need to tell my credit card company to withdraw my charge back and provide certain documents to [redacted] about the charge back then they wil try to release my funds to me soon. This is crazy if they think I am going to give them my money to them again. I believe they are a scam and I don't think that the people that are emailing me are from the USA. Their english even in written form is broken and the time that I receive their emails is usually midnight to three in the morning. At this time since I have my money I do not plan on responding or communicating with them ever again. I am now out only $6.20 for the shipping of the battery so if you can help others from getting involved with this company is all I am wanting. Thanks for your help.
