Review: I have been accused of smoking in a non-smoking hotel room despite being a non-smoker and having a child present. The entire hotel level I stayed on smelled of smoke and they charged me a $250.00 fee on my card, without notice of any kind. Apparently, when I called; they recognized the entire hotel floor smelled of cigarette smoke and accused me that my room smelled the worst. The staff gave me the run around, ignoring my complaint and made contacting the manager next to impossible. There was no physical or direct evidence, only a cleaning maids word based on her sense of smell. This is inexcusable and completely unjust to pay for someone else disgusting habit. On principle alone I can't ignore this accusation and charge.Desired Settlement: I would like the entirety of the charges in the amount of $250 refunded to me.

Regarding case ID [redacted] - During the weekend of August 9* - 11th we had several complaints regarding smoking throughout the hotel. We are a 100% non-smoking hi >tel, and we take this policy very serious. Several guests claimed it was from one particular room, wl ich in this case was Mr, [redacted]'s. As did our housekeeping staff and front desk staff. The Moi iday after the weekend, we did a more intense investigation and found it to be from two of our lower roi jms, which the,smell must've carried up. Tuesday, a refund was issued to Mr. [redacted] and he was nctified immediately. We then charged the correct room/guest.
