Lara Masonry

Lara Masonry ([redacted]) will not return to repair a major crack developed after he rebuilt our porch, even after he visited and confirmed the crack.About a year a go Lara Masonry, primarily [redacted] completed few large projects around our home, including the complete tear down and rebuilt of our front porch. Couple of months after they completed the work we noticed a crack in the brick on the front porch stretching about 3 feet. I contacted [redacted] and he came back to look at the crack and also give us an estimate on another job. When he arrived at the house I showed him and he confirmed it's fixable and will take care of it when he's working on the new job, unfortunately Lara Masonry did not win the bid for the new job. [redacted] said he will stop by some time and take care of it, this has been about a year ago. I have been attempting to contact him on and off for the past year with no luck. About two weeks ago we noticed the crack is getting worse and I made an attempt again to contact [redacted], he answered and confirmed he will stop by the week later after 4th of July (the week of the 6th). [redacted] did not show or made an attempt to reschedule, I contacted him July 10th for an update without any luck. At this point and after a year we're unable to wait any longer on Lara Masonry or the owner to complete the repairs, the crack is getting worse and we're concerned the damage will extend to other areas of the porch. Lara Masonry was paid for all of their work promptly and we expect the work to be warranted for workmanship to at least last more than couple of months. Desired SettlementLara Masonry/[redacted] needs to return to our home and repair the damage, if they don't wish to return we can have the repairs completed by another qualified mason and the cost will be covered by Lara Masonry.
