Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The response is not accurate We still live here and have no plans to leave our home and simply had to find a reliable internet provider becasue the service through Lariat was not reliable and we had constant problems the entire time we had the service We also have no reason to pay for service when it doesn't work so in reality Brett owes us more than what was requested as we had problems every month and documentation to prove it with constant e-mails and texts We were very nice allowing Brett every opportunity to fix the problem but he was unable to make the service reliable and the speed was nowhere near what was advertised Now he is simply lying and not taking responsibility for the constant problems we experienced So becasue we allowed Brett several months while he tried to find the problem replacing parts and evena modem in November he is trying to twist that into not giving us our money back for the equipment By the end he had replaced every part and still could not make it work reliably But if Brett does not want to refund our money that is finewe ill share our experience with others in the hopes of preventing them from getting ripped off by Lariat and we will attempt to sell the equipment to get our money back on various websites and social media In the end sharing our experience will cost Brett much more than a refund but that is his choice to makeAnd we will still be here at [redacted] as we are not leavingThat was just another lie from Lariat in some lame attempt to keep our money Sad when businesses choose to treat people like this but all I can do is share our experience Brett has a terrible reputation in this town and it's just getting worse Thanks Brett, see you around Regards, [redacted]

As stated in our previous response, we have documentation of this customer's search for a new place to live, and have attributed his sudden demands for an equipment refund to an imminent moveWe do our best to please all of our customers, and have a very good track record of doing soThis is one of only two customer complaints that have ever been filed against us with the Revdex.com, out of the many thousands we have served! Alas, as in all businesses, one occasionally gets a customer who will never be satisfied no matter what one doesThis appears to be one of those casesThis customer even threatened our representative - who took the time to call back after hours - with physical violence! We believe that we have acted professionally and provided good service throughout the time when we served this customer

I am rejecting this response because: They are complete lies Very typical of Brett We bought this house in May, no idea why he is claiming we dont' but as usual he is simply making up liesDocumentation is at the courthouse We are also not moving anywhere and have no plans to Just more lies from Brett to try and justify not giving us a refund for the faulty equipment he sold us while trying to change the subject away from his slow and unreliable internet service So predictable And our computer and power have been working great since we dropped Lariat so clearly our computer nor rocky mountain power are the issue with the internet not working Brett always tries to blame someone else for his own shortcomings instead of taking responsibility for his internet not workingHe was still out here in November trying to get it fixed and I told him that was his last chance The problems continued so I had no choice but to find a reliable internet provider For him to pretend that this was a surprise is laughable, I have all the documentation In fact when *** came out they indicated they had heard similar horror stores from Lariat and even problem with Brett putting password on the routers he sells so you can't use them with any other provider Typical of a little scammer like Brett because he loses so many customers who have choices If you want a good reflection of Lariat internet go to facebook and do a search, there you will find countless people who have had similar problems with Brett.

This customer initially had problems with radio interference, power surges and malfunctioning computer equipment. Because we always want to make things right for our customers, we bent over backwards to satisfy him. We returned to his rented home to perform interference mitigation. We later replaced...

hundreds of dollars' worth of gear, which was apparently blown out by the power surges at his rented home, at our own expense, even though by rights we should have charged for both the labor and the replacement equipment. After we did all of these things for him, he finally appeared to be satisfied with the service - as evidenced by the fact that he used it, paid for it, and did not call with any further complaints for several months, well beyond the period when we offer a refund if the customer is not satisfied.Then, in December, the customer left a long, angry voicemail containing a new complaint. We tested the service and found it to be working properly. We then called back, whereupon the customer threatened one of our employees with physical violence - which, under our company policy, is grounds to terminate the conversation, refuse to make physical service calls for our employees' protection, and/or terminate service. We also learned, via a third party, that the customer was moving out of his rented home. He therefore appeared to be requesting a refund not because the service was bad (it appeared to be working when we tested it) but rather because he was moving to a different location and simply wanted to recover the money he paid for the equipment. Finally, we noted that, even though he complained, he continued to use the service... and thus was obliged to pay for it. (He did not pay us for the last month of service he used, and still owes us for it.) We believe that we not only provided the customer with sound, working equipment and reliable service, but went above and beyond the call - and to significant expense - to help with problems that were not our responsibility. Internet service providers are much maligned and abused nowadays. However, because we believe that the services we provide are vital to modern life, we continue to do business honorably and ethically even when customers do not treat us as well as we strive to treat them.
