Larkspur Buildings

I have been dealing with Larkspur for 6 months, and still have nothing to show. Do not use this company, they are full of excuses and delays because it's a poorly run business with an extremely lean staff. You will have to call them every day and babysit the manager to get anything done. They seem to be better if you just buy a kit instead of having them do the construction. We've had to outsource everything else (dirt work, electrical, plumbing, etc) with no help or recommendations from Larkspur, which is difficult when you move to a new place. They are building a 36' x 48' barn, but showed no progress in the first 3 months - no permit filed and no materials delivered despite me making two payments upfront. Finally got materials delivered after 4 months (and after sitting on my payments). We never had a company rep show up at our property to see the plot before submitting a permit/planning the project - everything is done on Google maps, so they never understood the slope of our property. The office assistant that filed our permit had never filed a permit before, but our permit finally got approved. We had to supply the plot because they consistently put the building in the wrong place on the property. Supposedly we're on the schedule now, but they offer continuous excuses of why we are delayed - keep in mind it's almost July and we started this process back in December. They drilled holes for the posts last week for our barn, but are pushing us back several more weeks. Workers show up at noon and leave by 4pm. Meanwhile, they left giant holes on the barn pad that my dogs and kids can fall into - it's really not safe to leave the holes open for several weeks, just pour the concrete and finish the job. They came out and put small boards that half cover the holes (pictures attached), but animals or small children can easily fall into them. I would not recommend Larkspur to anyone. Guillermo is a good salesman and knows buildings very well, but he seems to have too many projects and does not finish them. This results in terrible customer service. I'm available to talk to anyone who is considering using Larkspur, because I don't want you to deal with the stress and issues my wife and I have gone through dealing with this process, unless you enjoy having your barn laying on the ground like you can see in my pictures.

This is a fantastic company to work with! Their product is great and their customer service is amazing. I am now on my second order and plan to order more in the new year.
