Review: I am in the process of closing on a my home and I spoke with [redacted] at the management office and was told, I only needed to pay a 1 month lease termination and pro-rated rent for the time I was still in the unit. I spoke with her 3 times on 3 different instances and this never changed. When I went into the office on May 4th, to turn in my lease termination form with the 1 month rent amount, I was told it is now 2 months. The first, time I spoke with [redacted] I had not put a contract on a home, which I had to make sure my finances could handle paying the 1 month. After all my calculations, I decided it was doable and I then put a contract on my home and it wasn't until May 4th, I was told I needed 2 months. At, this point it is to late to back out of my home purchase. I have also had issues with my car being broken into at my complex and this has cost me unnecessary money, I could not afford. The complex never has parks in the back and we only have a 1 car garage which means, you have to park your car in front of the building and it is not safe because of the area being secluded. We also have problems with squatters that comes inside of the complex all times of nights and dig in our garbage bins. These are all the reason, I decided to purchase a home in a safer area with more garage space for both of my cars. I would like to be able to move and only pay the $1277.00 which is one month rent, since I was told this and since the area is not a safe area for my personal belongings which is my car. [redacted] states I will be charged until the place is rented, how will I know if they are showing my place?Desired Settlement: I would like to be able to terminate the lease for 1 month rent and not 2 months rent and not be held liable for the duration of the lease because of my home purchase and because of me being in an unsafe environment where my car is being broken into.

Don't rent here!!! The place is falling apart and [redacted] poor management (Shari) doesn't want to take responsibility for anything. Tonight 1/3/2015 my heater is not heating or working. I have a 1 year old daughter and my response to a heater not working is to wait until Monday 1/5/2015 for a tech to come out and fix it. I guess I am expected to let my 1 year old freeze at night when the temperature outside drops to 36 degrees tonight. The manager is not willing to put in writing a reimbursement for a hotel for a few nights either. I believe the law states it's an emergency when it comes to having heat!!! Shari believes it's not her responsibility as a property manager to deal with this since she is off on weekends. Nice to know she actually cares about her tenants. Take it from me this place is a joke. The only worthwhile person working here is the maintenance tech Mike. Mike your very kind and understanding. For my other issues, my unit had mold in the shower around the window. I have expressed my concerns to maintenance and the office, however nothing has been done and it's been a few weeks. I am buying a mild kit to have it tested and I will know more soon. The complex looks safe because it's gated, but don't let this fool you, half the gates don't work and the front gate is open all day. It seems as if bums are always rummaging through the trash. I have pics if you want to see. Let me know if you want pics and I will send you pics of the mold and bums as well as a video of our Bon working heater ... I am not lying and the last thing I would want is for this to happen to you. Please be cautious before renting in such a poorly managed facility. My lease will be up in July and if I could leave early without the buyout I would. I would rate this place a 0 out of 5 if I could. I have documented everything with photos and email communication.
