LarpCraft, Inc Reviews (3)

We will not be taking any further action at this timeThe account will remain as it is until our chapters can determine a suitable actionLouis has received his award, sword / physical items associated with the membershipNo proof was ever sent that they obtained or maintained insurance as they stated so I can’t verify either way and being international, there isn’t much I can do about thisThe plot of their chapter leaving LarpCraft was exposed and as such, we took appropriate measure to remove admin privileges and chapter rightsIf Louis wishes to contact us further about this matter, he can submit written documents to our mailing addressAgain, consultation with the active chapters will determine any further action regarding his account, which hasn’t been deleted

This email is being sent in response to the complaint from Mr. [redacted]. Our terms of service are posted on our lower right-hand side of the site on almost every page https://larpcraft.com/ here’s a direct link...

- [redacted] Section 19 under Terms and Services - 19. Termination. Either you or LarpCraft Inc. may terminate your account and this agreement upon notice at any time without further obligation to the other. Further, LarpCraft Inc. reserves the right to terminate the Site and Services, or any part thereof, at any time without notice and without further obligation to you. IN NO EVENT SHALL YOU BE ENTITLED TO A REFUND OF ANY FEES OR PRORATION THEREOF. UPON TERMINATION OF THIS AGREEMENT, YOUR ACCESS PRIVILEGES TO THE SITE, SERVICES WILL TERMINATE AND YOU WILL FORFEIT ANY UNUSED ACCESS TIME THAT YOU PURCHASED OR RECEIVED PRIOR TO TERMINATION. A member whose account LarpCraft Inc. has terminated may not access the Site or Services in any manner or for any reason without LarpCraft Inc.s’ express, prior, written permission. Termination of this agreement shall have no effect on any payment obligation accrued prior to the effective date of termination. The following sections shall survive termination: 7, and 14-22. Lewis has been accused of running LarpCraft games without insurance and in violation of local laws governed to him in [redacted]. Being we are a Wisconsin company in the USA, there is no way for me to verify these claims. The lifetime membership also came with a physical award and larp item which was sent and delivered.

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. As I have stated numerous times. We were under no obligation to provide insurance as we never formally created a legal entity for our chapter. This argument has no relevance to the complaint about your fraudulent sale of a product which is the reason I opened this case. You cannot sell a product called "Lifetime Membership" and then revoke the account for no reason. A temporary disabling of the account to remove any elevated privileges would have been sufficient. But as the account still remains locked to this day you have effectively rendered the product you sold to me unusable. Lifetime membership by its name stipulates for life, therefore by terminating my account or preventing me from accessing my account, you have essentially sold me a product does not fit its description and function as expected. Therefore I demand a full refund of the purchase price less the realistic cost of the two physical items. There combined value could be worth no more that $200 [redacted]n Dollars The calimacil sword from their website is listed as $106.67, and the engraved clock you provided could have a value of no greater than $100 [redacted]n at most. You call our plan to leave Larpcraft a plot, when it was no such thing, it was a unanimous decision to change systems as our players were not happy with the "pay to win" system that Larpcraft created. You have again refused to provide me with the requested information on the slanderous accusations you made that I operated ilegally. You have made a claim that is defamatory and have not provided the requested documentation to prove it. Again I ask you to provide me with the proof of these acusations. As you have said multiple times that we are an international party, that however does not excuse you from your obligation to ensure that we provided insurance if that is a condition of hosting a chapter. I never formally signed any agreement with LarpCraft stating that I would meet any conditions as a host. As said in my previous response the only agreement I signed with LarpCraft was the use of name agreement which [redacted] generated. I have fulfilled the terms of this agreement.Regards,Lewis [redacted]
