Larry H. Miller Toyota Corona Reviews (3)

In response to the letter dated 10/17/Mr*** came to our dealership to complete an Oil Consumption recallAt that time, our service advisor *** *** recommended that with the miles that were on Mr***'s Scion he should replace the water pump since the front of the vehicle was apart to
complete the recallMr*** approved the work_ Mr*** then said he would not pay for the work completedLarry HMiller did not allow Mr*** to pick up his vehicle until he paid for the work he approved and we completed. Mr*** then call the Bureau of Automotive repair to our dealership to resolve his issueThe inspector from the Bureau investigated the matter and concluded that we completed the repair with proper authorization and Mr*** did indeed owe the dealership for the work. Initial Business Response /* (1000, 10, 2015/08/21) */
[redacted]Document Attached[redacted]
Customer [redacted] came to Larry H. Miller Toyota Corona with a TRUACar certificate for a 2015 Toyota Tacoma, reflecting $1,683.00 of MSRP. While here at the dealership, he switched to a 2015 Toyota 4Runner,...

reflecting 30.00 off MSRP.
The TRUECar Dealer Price is 35,080.00 and that is what Mr. [redacted] purchased the vehicle for.
Larry H. Miller would not be able to sell a Toyota Tacoma for the same price as a Toyota 4Runner as you can see by the attached documents.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 12, 2015/08/24) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The documents they have attached are not valid. First of all, the first document shows I was looking for a Toyota Tacoma. The dealer responded I then "switched to the 4Runner". Why would I be looking to buy the exact car I already had that I was there to trade in. I no longer wanted the Tacoma that I already had because I needed a vehicle with more space which is why I was there to trade my car in. Not so I [redacted] trade it in for the exact thing but so I could get the 4Runner, a vehicle that suited my needs. Second, the document for the 4Runner does not picture the agreed to price that the dealer and I discussed. They picture the sticker price. I had pulled up the true car price for the 4Runner on my iPhone and showed [redacted]. [redacted] wrote it on a note checked with his manager and said that his manager would be fine with the price of $33,128. This is by far the most misleading experience I have ever had with a business and I will be sure all my friends and family know and social media that this dealership is dishonest. They have blatantly tried to cover this up to prevent themselves from paying what was owed. Yes it was my mistake for not triple checking the price on the paperwork but I was completely cheated because [redacted] told me the price of $33,128 was approved by his manager. This must be made right. I no long want to support any type of Larry H Miller business or Toyota Corona if this is how they choose to "resolve" their customers issues. This is absolutely unacceptable. I demand that they actually make this right instead of trying to blame it on my for the hundredth time.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 10, 2016/03/22) */
The customer got his first month's bill and Toyota Motor Sales issued him with a refund for one month's payment as a courtesy.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 12, 2016/03/22) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the...

response from the business.)
Larry H Miller did nothing to resolve this issue. I had to send a complaint to Toyota corporate to get anything done, they did nothing. Their response that I received my first months bill, 4 months after purchasing the vehicle, and that TOYOTA CORPORATE refunded my first bill had nothing to do with Larry H Miller. Their customer services regarding this issue was a joke and I will never spend a dime at that dealership again. If this were a complaint about Toyota corporate, then I would have accepted the response. Employees of Larry H Miller lacked the simple skills required to punch in numbers into a computer. This and this alone caused this situation. They put in my social security wrong in the financing paperwork which caused me a credit rejection and they entered my address wrong in the original paperwork causing the bill for the Hylander to not be paid. Based on the above stated info, their response is not satisfactory since they did nothing to resolve the problem they created!
