The invoice was the contractI dont know why he keeps saying he does not have a contractTurf contracts are simply, cap heads, add DG and lay turfIf there is broken lines it would be a change order to what is on the agreementMr *** got his turf laid down after the line was fixedI was not responsible for any broke linesI charge $a ft to lay turfI bid his job at $that was the credit, he was a teacher he can addLike always you give someone a cheap price and they always find something to grip aboutWhen it comes to his text records, please have him show you the text where I tell him I am not responsible for broke linesThank you

Response to complaint:
The broke line was a sprinkler lineMy contract was to cap heads onlyPlease have Mr*** look at his contract/InvoiceOn Wednesday August 10th we went back to lay synthetic turf down because Mr*** had the repair done
I am not responsible for broke lines or
repairs done by other peopleThe turf is down so I dont see a issue
I will not give Mr*** a credit because I gave a credit of about $off regular price from the beginning
Mr*** has a sprinkler system that is very old and when I capped the valve for the lawn he lost sprinklers for the shrub areaThe lawns heads were full heads that watered the shrubs

Mr. [redacted]'s facts are a bit off.
He talks about a contract\invoice. We never received any contract\invoice from Mr. [redacted]. His bid was simply oral. I had asked for something in writing several times before and during the work, and never received anything. The only paper work we received from Mr. [redacted] was an invoice of what we owed him. This was given to us on completion of the work. There is nothing on the invoice that states what he is or is not responsible for.
In our initial talk Mr. [redacted] gave me an oral bid for all the work. He never said anything of a discount of $1.50. We even supplied the turf for the job. He did not have to buy\supply the turf.
Mr. [redacted] stated that he would cap off all sprinklers or remove them if that was needed. He would also cut and cap all unused sprinkler valves. Mr. [redacted] did not cut and cap the front unused sprinkler valve, and the valve in the back he cut but was not capped. The sprinklers were capped and turf was laid. But, in less than a week leaks were detected.
On June 19, 2016 I contacted Mr. [redacted] about the leaks. Four in the front and one in the back. Mr. [redacted] texted me stating he would be out on June 22 to fix the leaks. Mr. [redacted] did not show up on that day nor did he call\text to tell me why or reschedule. On June 24, I again contacted Mr. [redacted] about the leaks and when he would be able to come take care of the problem. On Tuesday June 28th Mr. [redacted] replied. He stated that he would be out on June 30 to take care of the leaks. Mr [redacted] again did not show up or contact me. On July 1 I contacted Mr. [redacted] again to set up a new time to fix the leaks. Mr. [redacted] did not get back to me. On July 5 I contacted Mr. [redacted] again. He finally came out. He pulled back the turf and told me that the plugs were leaking and one sprinkler was not plugged at all. He stated that he had the young men in his crew plug them and they did not get them tight enough, Quote from Mr. [redacted], "If you need it done right you do it yourself. I should have checked their work" . The front yard leaks were taken care of. Mr. [redacted] did not fix the backyard leak on that day. He said he needed a part and he would come back. On July 10th I contacted Mr. [redacted] to see why he had never come back to fix the backyard leak. He stated he would be out on July 12th. Mr. [redacted] came on that day but again stated he needed a part he did not have. So the leak was not repaired. On July 16th I contacted Mr. [redacted] again to see when he would be out to fix the leak. On July 19th Mr. [redacted] got back to me stating only that he was very busy. No mention of when he would be back. On July 23rd I once again contacted Mr. [redacted] as to when he would finish the job and to let him know we were watering everything by hand due to the leak in the backyard. I was concerned of losing plants due to the 106-108 degree temperatures. On July 26th Mr. [redacted] got back to me stating he would be out on the 27th. Mr. [redacted] did not show up on the 27th and did not contact me as to why. At this point I contacted another company to get a bid on the repair work. This company told me that it was the responsibility of Mr. [redacted] to get the job done and I should contact the Revdex.com and the contractor's licenses board. On August 1st I contacted Mr. [redacted] again and asked that he complete the work in the next two days or I would be contacting the Revdex.com and State contractor's board. On August 2 Mr. [redacted] got back to me stating that he was not responsible for the backyard because it was a broken pipe. I let him know that the pipe was not broken before the job started and it is broken now and the break is right where he was working. The second turf company stated it is the responsibility of Mr. [redacted] to fix broken pipes. I paid to have the pipe repaired and on Aug 9th Mr. [redacted] sent out one of the same young men that did not tighten the plugs properly to relay the turf. The turf is now finally done. It took 7 weeks, several contacts by me and the threat of turning this matter over to the Revdex.com and contractor's licensing board to get the leaks taken care of and I had to pay for the broken pipe repair.
The age of the sprinkler system and what sprinkler heads were in use is irrelevant to the job and my complaint.
Everything in this complaint can be backed up with my paperwork from Mr. [redacted] and a complete text dialogue still saved in my records.
No further action needs to be taken or followed up with Mr. [redacted].
