reassured us that although it would be tight for the first couple months he was expecting to regain his employment with *** in the coming weeksTherefore he himself decided, against our best efforts to get him into a smaller payment, to purchase the *** ***Next Mr*** states that the vehicle was unsafe to useThis is hardly believable for any vehicle that is only a few years old with less than 30,milesMr*** is correct in saying that we had the vehicle inspected by *** *** a third party independent NYS registered inspection stationThis happened not weeks after his purchase but within a day or All vehicles purchased in NY have to have a fresh inspection within days of the purchase dateNext Mr*** states that the mileage that was on the window sticker was listed as 27,miles this is likely correct as these are printed at the time we put the vehicle on our lotThese window stickers are for quick reference informationThe mileage will obviously change with timeSome vehicles will be sold 6+ months after these window stickers are printedMr*** knew the correct mileage as it was pointed out multiple times, during the test drive, on every piece of paperwork he signed including but not limited to, our Buyers Order, NYS Limited Warranty, NYS MV-50, NYS Odometer Statement, ectAll of which clearly stated the vehicle had 29,actual miles at the time of purchaseNext Mr*** claims that he could not afford more than $per month for a paymentAs I previously stated we tried to get him into a different vehicle that would have been under his budgetHe then states that he told us that he had to talk it over with his wifeWhich is true, the part he left out is that we had him drive the *** to his house as well as the other vehicle we suggested at a lower priceWe allowed him to take both vehicles to his home to show his wife as she wasn't able to make it to our showroomAfter he showed her both vehicles he said they came to the conclusion that although the payment is more for the ***, that is the vehicle that they wantedAs previously stated Mr*** did indeed say that the payment was more than he had hoped forBut, he said he could handle the payment without issue, it would be tight for the first couple monthsMr*** says that he had the vehicle looked at by reputable garages, all of which agreed that the vehicle would need repairs totaling $1,I personally called *** *** *** Service on speaker phone, which Mr*** references in his letter, with Mr*** sitting at my deskI spoke with *** of *** ***, he told me that yes the vehicle may need new tires and brake pads in the future but not for months to a year There was no mention of removing axles or wheel bearingsThis was after the vehicle was left on our lot for repossessionMr*** didn't give us an opportunity to resolve the issueHe didn't' mention any of this to us until after he left the car on our lot for repossessionI implore you to contact *** *** and ask them yourself to get his recollection of this incident Mr*** states that his plates were never switched over to the ***He was issued a temporary registration upon purchasing the vehicleThis is good for days, its function is to allow the dealership time to process all of the paperwork with the DMVMr*** paints a picture that we took advantage of him, we talked him into something he couldn't afford, and that we are "completely dishonest"This couldn't be further from the trueWe would've done whatever it took to get him into another vehicle had we been given an opportunityMr*** obviously left out the part about his buying a vehicle from another dealership here in ***The day before he left the *** here to be repossessed by the bank he was smiling ear to ear in his photo with the sales team at *** *** *** ***Which can be seen here *** It seems to me that Mr*** was possibly coached by someone to just let the *** get repossessed
