I am rejecting this response because:Bauhaus's response does not offer any new information or practical alternative to their original response As Bauhaus indicated in the response, I already have all of the information that they forwarded in their response to Revdex.com. The issue here is not that Bauhaus is not honoring the text in their warranty, it is that Bauhaus’ warranty is unethical, misleading, and provides a very sense of security regarding the quality of the sofaBy not offering a local repair or replacement, the warranty has no real value I would like to know how many customers with a frame warranty claim on a comparably priced sofa to mine have paid to ship their sofa to Bauhaus’ factory. My estimate would be zero because their warranty is by design neither practical nor realistic from a consumer's perspective

Thank you very much Revdex.com for your assistance in mediating this matter.I am rejecting this response because:
"A product or service warranty is a promise, from a manufacturer or seller, to stand behind the product or serviceIt is a statement about the integrity of the product and about the seller's commitment to correct problems should the product or service fail." A year warranty on the frame of a couch conveys a high level of quality and a high commitment to correcting problems should they arise on the part of the manufacturer.A product failure under light to use within years of year warranty indicates inferior material and/ or manufacturing or design defects A year warranty on a $product that requires spending $on shipping in order to get a warranty repair in the eyes of the consumer warrants nothing and has no value.After this experience, I wish Bauhaus Furniture Group the best of luck in getting repeat business from any of their customersEventually, they will run out of customers.Regards,

In reviewing the consumer's response it appears the consumer is personally unhappy with the Bauhaus warranty as they had hoped for a local repair or replacement. The consumer actually states that Bauhaus is honoring the "text" in the warranty. No where in the warranty does it state Bauhaus will offer a local repair or replacement of the furniture.As Bauhaus has honored the warranty at hand by allowing the consumer to return the furniture for repair there is nothing further that can be done on the part of Bauhaus. Unless the consumer contacts us within days from the date of this response to return the furniture to our facility for repair Bauhaus will consider this matter closed.Thank you,*** ***Bauhaus Customer Service
Based on the Bauhaus warranty and the information we have all ready supplied there is nothing further Bauhaus can offer the consumer. This matter is now closed as the consumer has rejected the offer made to repair the furniture in our facility with her paying the transportation costs to and from our facility.Thank you,*** ***Bauhaus Furniture Group?
To Whom It May Concern:Attached please find the warranty which contains the transportation clause denoting that shipping charges are the consumer's responsibility"Incidental or consequential damages such as packing costs and transportation to and from the factory for warranty service are
not covered by this warranty."Bauhaus is honoring the warranty on the frame by allowing the consumer to return the furniture to our facility in MS and repairing it in our facility at no charge.We also provided a list of common carriers the consumer can contact for shipping rates.Based on everything the consumer provided and our warranty guidelines Bauhaus has honored the warranty on the sofaBased on this there is nothing further Bauhaus can do to assist this consumer.Please feel free to contact me if you have any further questions.Thank you,*** ***Bauhaus Customer Service662-869-x ***662-869-FAX***@bauhausfurnituregroup.com?
