I am writing in regard to the letter I received from you about a complaint filed First the customer says he found a pair of boots in the RED TAG sectionWe don't have a red tag sectionIf we mark a boot down we simply leave that boot in the place it would normally be displayed and
mark the tag with a percentage off ( to be taken off at the register ) Secondly when the boots were taken to the register to be purchased my employee's immediately knew there was something not rightThe manager ( not the name he gave I have no one here by that name ) looked at them and explained, that tag was not supposed to be on that bootIt very plainly indicated on the tag it was supposed to be on a jar of boot crème He started to argue and threaten that we had to sell the boots for the price that was on the them.She said she would call the owner to see if he wanted to sell the boot for $1.99, which she didI told her no way , and if he caused any problems to call the sheriffwhich she did since he would not leave nor would he quit arguing with her I came shortly after, and again told the man there was no way I could sell the boots for $and that someone had taken a tag from another item and put it on the bootHe was not accused of doing that, he was simply told that someone had done it And number three, when the sheriff came the officer talked to the man outside my store, and later told me the man admitted that it was unreasonable to expect me to sell the boot for $ I have no paper work to submit with this since he did not purchase anything so I did not even know his nameThank you *** *** President/ owner of Larry's Boots Inc
