How is he still in business
Constantly ripping people off!? How can one figure being sued as a business expense?
For such an unprofessional company that has few satisfied customers how is he still making it? It’s because of his trust fund his daddy left him. I strongly advise anyone In need of masonry work to call anyone else.

This is not the same Larsen masonry located in salt lake City Utah.
Just wanted to make that clear

As in my previous response we were contracted to do a job that the customer put a claim into our insurance for damage done to her home. When we looked at what the customer said was damaged we were told she did not want us back to complete.I have been doing this type of work for 20+ years and take pride in what I do. When in business you come across customers who are not pleased with the work done for whatever the reason is and this just happens to be one of those times.*** ***Larsen Masonry

As you can see from the Larsens response, they are very good at creating smoke screens and not actually addressing all of the issues.What about the mess that was dumped on the neighbors property? What about the concrete pad on my front lawn that should still be lawn? They mention nothing of the violations that were committed, such as asking for half down when it is only legal to ask for a third down. That third down is supposed to be to purchase materials. All of my materials had not even been purchased yetWhat did they do with my money? They also mention nothing about violating the Maine Home Contracts LawThere is no mention that *** told me on the phone, on August 18th, that they did not have my money to return.They care absolutely zero about the mess they have created at my home and all of the inconveniences that have been caused by *** ***s haphazard work. If any of the above were not true, they would not be ignoring me. What professional business does that? They would, and should be attempting to right the wrongs, in some way - any way. Since my original complaint, an electrician has found where my dryer wire was cut and damaged in two places. A code enforcement officer has also since inspected the basement and confirmed that it is not even up to code. My bulkhead leaked into the basement during the last rain. I did take photos. The beams *** did put up are already cracking leaving me in a possible safety hazard situation. Again, they do not care. I have also since obtained a copy of the police report that I filed for the theft of my money. I just had surgery and still have to go to the laundry mat as I've done for the past months. They do not care about that either Im sure. Because I had reached out to the Larsens SO MANY TIMES via phone, emails and texts and received NO communication back, I resorted to calling *** at her place of employment. Who wouldnt take such steps after having over $dollars stolen and my house so badly damaged? She asked me not to call her there again and I have not, but it still in no way prompted her or *** to reach out to me in any wayShe said she could not speak to me while at work and I told her that she obviously could not speak to me while at home either. Again, total avoidance. I would hope that the Revdex.com not find it acceptable for an accredited business to outright lie and attempt to deceive consumers and the bureau in order to make an unearned profit at a consumers expense.I hope in the end that they loose their accreditation with the Revdex.com for treating me as they have and I hope that they are dropped by their insurance for being so deceitful and creating such an expensive mess. Its a good thing that I have proof of the things that I have said. I recorded the visit when the Larsens came to inspect the damage. Yes, it is legal. I would be happy to provide this to the bureau so that you can hear for yourselves that they (*** & *** ***) offered to replace my dryer, telling me to pick one out. You can hear that they offered my money back, minus the agreed upon material list - which has already been provided to me. You can also hear *** agree that he did not feel that the work he did was safe. And yes, I did refuse to let him fix it. What homeowner, in their right mind, would let him back in to work on anything knowing all that I have reported. Unless it concerns a quote or picking up money, he cannot pay attention. I will also be providing a copy of this recording to the Attorney General and to my attorney if necessary. Since the Larsens choose to handle things so inappropriately, I feel its important for everyone to know what kind of people they are and how they handle their business and customers with such misconduct. If Larsen masonry was fully insured, I would not still be messing around with an insurance claim over months later with nothing fixed and still carting my laundry to the laundry matNo one has stepped up to help me with this huge mess of a process with the insurance claim. I am on obviously my own. I did agree to the quote I was provided. I did not agree to be a weekend job. I did not agree to have to fight to get *** to show up and work. But in hindsight, it would seem he spent all of my illegal half down payment quickly and probably did not have the money to buy the materials for my home. I did not agree to all of the damage to my home or all of the hassle and avoidance by Larsen Masonry. I thought I was hiring a professional. I was wrong. If *** *** cannot pay attention and care enough to treat my home with respect when working on it, how could I actually trust him to fix what he could not do right in the first place? The "other contractor" that he offered to bring in was a family member. That is not in my best interest but it is for *** and *** ***. This is also in the recording. When *** and *** *** were at my home to inspect the damage, there was no specific mention of the retaining walls and the stairs that were not done. Again, the proof is in the recording. We did specifically talk about my due refund which was my down payment minus the material list, which was provided later.*** and *** are quick to provide estimates, take money and slow to provide service. I can also provide you with texts in which I specifically extend to *** on August 2nd & 3rd, due to a texts from him, that the jacking has to be done daily-not all at once. Even I, who is not a "professional", knows that there is a process to this. He still did it wrong.I can also show you with written proof that no matter how much I reached out to them, that they never fully address anything.I can provide you with an email in which *** tells me that *** will finish the bulkhead. He never did. *** and *** ***s word is no better than ***s workmanship.I had previously expressed to *** that his communication skills were poor and that I was tired of hounding him to show up and show some progress. And again, I can provide copies of these texts as well. Yes, there is more than one. Getting *** to just show up to work was a chore in itself. Make no mistake, he his quick as a rabbit to take money though.I had sincerely hoped that this situation could be rectified professionally, as it should be, but *** and *** *** actually made it impossible to do so. I will do whats necessary*** and *** *** know, without the recorded conversations, that what I say is true. *** and *** *** are purposely wasting my time and energy and I do not appreciate it.But since *** and *** *** could not do the right thing, because it was the right thing to do, I will take to consumer avenues to share my experience to keep other consumers, in and around our community, from falling victim to the deceitful people and practices associated with Larsen MasonryI have also discovered that there are several tv news options for reporting experiences such as thisI do not enjoy spending my free time with all of the extra activity but make no mistake, I will not be quietly stolen from by thieves who think its ok to lie*** and *** *** are fully aware that their actions are wrong, immoral and unprofessional.*** and *** *** are selfishly out for themselves at my expense.Too bad they are not as good at running their business as they are at avoidance and creating smoke screens. To *** and *** *** - Take note of how I actually addressed everything in your reply. Please try to find some consideration and professionalism, even though I know its not your strong suit, and do the same for me instead of skirting the issues. I know it will difficult for both of you. To reiterate - I want my money refunded as originally agreed upon, my dryer replaced, the bulkhead completed correctly at *** and *** ***s expenseI want my warranty information for the projects they consider completed. I want the concrete cleaned off my lawn and the mess cleaned off the neighbors property. I want *** and *** ***, owners of Larsen Masonry, to take full responsibility for the their unprofessional actions as adults, business owners and members of the communityI hope that the Larsens choose to resolve this issue quickly so that it can be put to rest. Larsen Masonry is a fully insured company that does commercial and residential work.  An estimate was given to the customer through email in regards to work to be done at her home and she agreed through email to have it completed.The work that was done at customers house was a patio, bulk head,...

bulk head stairs and jacking of a floor.  Customer called and said that she was going to be putting a claim into our insurance company in regards to damage that was done while jacking the floor.  I went to go and look to see what the damage was and the customer said she did not believe that I could fix the issue.  I offered to have another contractor come and in and the customer refused.  Customer mentioned that she thought the chimney had been damaged from the jacking and I offered to go on the roof to look and she refused me to look at it.At the time I was there she also said she did not want me to do the other set of stairs or the retaining wall.[redacted]Larsen Masonry

Dear Revdex.comFrom [redacted] and [redacted]s response you can see what I am dealing with - Unprofessional mns who absolutely refuse to actually address any of the specific issues in the complaint.  They lack the ability to own their mistakes, stick to their word and make things right without making a ton of extra hassle for me.  With all things considered, I guess I am not surprised that they provided an answer fit for crooks and thieves. Just one of those times???  Are you kidding me?  Who would be happy with all this damage to their home by such careless people following by the run around and constant lying?  Who would be happy about being stolen from?  If they were as good at customer service as they are avoidance, we would not be here.  As previously agreed upon by the Larsens, I want my money!!!  I don't want to know how long they have been in business, I want to know where my money is!!! Regards,
