I purchased this band for my fiance, we are getting married next month! I first went to a Tungsten ring department store retailer in person to see if they sold the ring in store and to get my partner fittedUnfortunately they did not carry this ring in store, but they were able to fit my partner, which read a comfortable size The retailer explained to us that these brand of rings cannot be resized, because of the type of metal it is made from, so it was important that we were sized in advance and comfortable with the fitI ordered this ring in a size online, as we were sized, but when we received it, the band was too large, sadlyMy fiance does really like this ring, so I asked to have it exchanged for one size smaller, not expecting to have to cover the shipping cost to have the ring sent backI was told that since Larson did not mess up with the sizing, based off their policy, they would not reimburse me the cost of shipping to have it exchangedI expressed my dissatisfaction and asked to speak with a higher up who then also explained I would have to pay the cost, because it was not their fault, on that end, despite that I went in person to have my partners finger sized at a Tungsten distributorHe told me that there was no one higher in ranking than himself to speak with, and I told him that I was not a happy customer and would be leaving a reviewHe then accused me of blackmailing, at that point he was making it personal, and not about businessSeriously? Since when is leaving an honest review about my experience blackmailing? I thought that was my right as a customerWould it have been blackmailing if I intended to leave a positive review regarding my experience? He also told me that I have to pay to have any item shipped back from Amazon, also NOT TRUEWhen I told him that was not true, he responded and said "well I do," once again making it personal and not about businessThis is actually my first time ever having to pay to have something I purchased from Amazon, and not satisfied with, returned, as I have been a VERY HAPPY Amazon Prime memberWhen upset I asked for a refund, and the man on the phone said, "fine send it back and we will give you a refund!" I went to then ask what the refund process is and HE HUNG UP ON ME! Yes, the highest ranking person for Larsan jewelry customer service "supposedly," not only refused to cover the return shipping cost, but hung up on me! Not professionalMy fiance really likes this ring, so ultimately it is about him, and not me, so I, unlike Larsan jewelry can place my pride aside and move forward to exchange it, with hopes that the ring in return will be satisfactory but the customer service here blew me away, and not in a positive way! Not catering to the PAYING customer at allMy fiance purchased my engagement ring from ***, my stone chipped, and we were able to send it back for repair, at NO COST to us, a return label was provided, no questions, no snarky commentsI would highly recommend this jewelry company instead! Let's pray that my partners ring comes back, with no issues, as I never want to deal with this company again after my experience
