We went to this store while staying at [redacted]. There were big signs about big discounts - we saw a pair of earrings that were significantly marked down, and asked about the carat, clarity etc. The salesman answered all questions in a hurry and told us we only had 4 minutes to get this deal (it was 12:56 and sale ended at 1:00PM). He also tried to upsale on other earnings, which we refused. We ended buying 2 pairs (of what we thought were super marked down diamond earnings). We totally trusted this Salesman. We do agree we never specifically asked if they were "diamond" earnings (apart from asking questions about carat and clarity), however he never either mentioned they were "man-made manufactured stones".

2 days later, we were going through all our receipts and looked at this receipt, and saw that they were not diamonds - they were some man made stones that look and feel like diamonds. So the next day we went back to the store asking for a refund, and guess what, the big signs for big discounts were still ON (may be the signs stay on all year?).

Initially this Salesman played dumb saying he doesn't remember us, but by the end of our visit he remembered every detail (memory comes back fast eh!!!).

Long story short, he refused to refund. And when another customer entered who he knew, he started insulting us by saying how stupid are we to think we could get diamonds for such low price (well I have seen a pair for $1,000 - $1,500, and that's the price of these ones, and they were marked down to $250). Anyways, after he insulted us, we just left the store (Note: When we entered the store, he was dealing with 2 customers, and we waited until they left to talk to him - but when it was his turn to insult us, he did that infront of the other customer).

I don't like writing reviews, except in this case so my fellow travelers know what to expect. This saleman is the kind you would meet at a car dealership trying to sell you the crappiest car for the price of a Maserati.
