I live in Tijuana, BC, around four in the afternoon I received a call to my cell phone and a lady asked me if she was calling the restaurant and I told her I was the manager and how can I help her, she responded that she wanted to know how much was a medium shrimp cocktail and I told her it was
$plus tax, then she told me: Well what happened was that I was at the restaurant yesterday and they charged me $for the cocktail, and I wanted to know why, I told her how strange that they charged you that amount because we do not have cocktails for that price or anything other food for that price in our system, but that she needed to go to the restaurant to see the receipt and to see what they charged her and to talk to the waitress that served her, then she got very agitated and said why I was calling her a liar that she did not have the time to be calling and inventing things, which I responded that I was not calling her a liar and that I was only saying that we do not have that price in our system for a dish and that our cash registers are digitized and they have prerecorded prices and then I asked her to tell me exactly what the receipt said and she said it said the shrimp cocktail $and that it did not say what size it wasSo I told her that if she wanted she could go back to the restaurant so we can see how we can help her, then she said she wanted to talk to the owner, I said I am the owner and then she started using alot of cuss words saying she knew people like us, that we were thieves and we only wanted to rob people but that she would make it her mission to bring our business down and remove all the prestige and the call dropped, she called again and my husband answered and the lady was still agitated said why were we hanging up and that the lady she was talking to was very rude and my husband replied that he was standing right next to me and that I never was rude to her and that she was the one who was agitated but that I personally told her that I would assist her and see what they had charged her, and she answered that she did not have the time to go and discuss this, but that she would be in charged to bad mouth our business and that we would remember her and my husband said lady I do not know how you want us help you because if you do not go tomorrow morning to see what they charged you, then tell me what way we can help, but if you cannot go then you can do what you think you need to do, I cannot help you any other way and then she started threatening the business and hanged up. I think the most important thing is to see the receipt of purchase to see what she was charged so we can offer a resolutionShe did not want to go to the restaurant so we can resolve the problem and I do not see how we could have help only through the phoneThank you for your attention and we wait for a response. *** ***
