** spoke with Dan from La Salle's .  He is confused as to what the consumer wants to resolve this matter.  He stated she recently made a layaway payment for her merchandise.  Their layaway terms are 6 months and then after that the consumer may incur fees.  The manager is...

question was trying to help the consumer when he was trying to explain this and give her options to finance the remain balance.  Revdex.com  called consumer for clarification and is awaiting a callback.Consumer is requesting a full refund of her layaway.  She stated it was $100.  Revdex.com spoke with Dan from LaSalle and advised him that is what the consumer is requesting.  He stated the company does not give refunds and it is stated in the store but he will pass the information along to management and see what they would like to do for the consumer.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
The manager(s) of LaSalle store are refusing to acknowledge the issue in this case; the problem was not the store layaway policy, the problem is what I stated in my complaint on August first. I was ordered to leave the store and not to come back, and that my receipt was going to be voided and my money kept.  It’s been one month now and the manager still refusing to resolve this issue, not once did Dan (the manager) offered an apology for his employer behavior or wish to compensate me for this terrible ordeal.       August 31, 2017 – I called (1:45pm) LaSalle furniture store and a male by the name of Jack answered, I ask Jack to leave Dan (the manager) a message to give me or [redacted] a call and I stated that Dan is already informed with what’s going on. Jack was refusing to deliver Dan the message without me giving him full details of the issue, (I gave his my first name and the invoice number), Jack still refusing to give Dan the message. I explained to Jack that [redacted] is waiting for a call from him and he knows why, Jack said “trust me, Dan will not know anything, he has been out of town, and if Dan gets hit by a bus, you will have to deal with me,” (my response) “well, I’ll deal with you after that happens.”  After this call, I decided to call the store in [redacted]) to confirm if a manager “Dan” exist, the male answered the phone and he told me that there is and he come around once or twice a week. I ask him to do the same thing as Jack- to give Dan my name and number to call me-no problem. I called the [redacted] ([redacted] and a male answered, not stating that it was a business, and he said “we can’t help you, [redacted] can’t help you Pam and hung up.         At 3:26pm., I received a called on my cell phone from [redacted] a male claiming to be Dan, the manager. Which voice sounds the same as the male from [redacted] plus the male from the [redacted] store.         The Phone Call: the phone call from Dan the manager, Dan says that the store policy is no refunds on layaways. Okay, I said,” in this case I should be compensated or something,  my granddaughter (10 yrs. old) and I was ordered to leave and not to come back by your employer, I was disrespect for no reason.” I ask him if the employer still working there, no response from Dan. Then I said, “if you’re the manager then you can resolve this issue, it’s been a month.” No response from Dan, I said, “I don’t think you’re the manger,” Dan hangs up.     I just looked at my receipt and the [redacted] is hand written on my receipt for the [redacted] store. I’m guessing Dan, Jack and Chip (the employer that ordered me out the store) are all the same person.   [redacted] if you look at the receipts they are not correct: 6/30/17   previous balance 1210.79                    paid                    20.00               Balance due         1190.797-31-17   previous balance should be:      1190.79 1210.79                      Paid                                         10.00          NOT               Balance due should be:              1180.79
