To whom it may concern,Anytime a vehicle is purchased from another state, Lasco Ford follows Michigan state reciprocating laws and collects up to 6%, but, never more than 6% If another state has city, county, or any other tax this is the responsibility of the consumer and Lasco Ford has no ability or lawful resources to pay this tax if it is owed Lasco Ford sends all collected tax to the State of Michigan per Michigan law and does not keep ANY collected tax for such said "profit" and even if a consumer was to over pay in a scenario, the State of Michigan must refund the monies paid In this case, since the consumer owed additional tax over and above the amount collected it was never paid and is owed by the consumer if the state says it is owed

I bought/fianced a GMC Yukon Denali on 10/23/for 14,I drove it an hour and mins homeHusband drove it mile to work and the transmission went outDidn't have it hoursThey said at first they were not responsible because we bought it as isThe ad we found this truck said it had the spec inspection doneAfter that had happened they said they didn't do inspection and it didn't say they did, also Removed it from the adAfter contacting a lawyer for consultation and told him what had happened he said I had a case because it wasnt even hoursAfter talking to dealership couple times they agreed putting trans inOn the 24th we had it towed back to the dealership at our expense, $tow billThey refused paying tow billThey said they would put another transmission in after fighting with them because it was only hours we had itThey've had it and half weeks now and nothing is being doneHaven't been kept updated, we have to call themThen we get

So I bought a Ford Explorer from Lasco at the end of March and have had NOTHING but issues with it and Lasco!! When I signed my paperwork I signed up for extended Warranty, after about a week I got a call stating I needed to go back into the dealership to resign my paperworkSince I was in a hurry I didn't go over the paperwork which is my faultWell they removed the extended warranty without telling meweeks later I brought the explorer back because the shifter wasn't working and had to have them fix it under the warrantySo on June 5th I had to bring my explorer in because the A/C stopped working and was told by Pat I wouldn't have to pay the $deductible since it was overlooked on the inspectionOn the 7th I got a call saying I had no extended warranty and they didn't know what had happened and they were going to look into whyLater on the 8th I called the warranty company because I heard nothing from Lasco and they explained that Lasco canceled my warranty on the 6t

I purchased a Ffrom Lasco Ford on 3-17-Days after purchasing the vehicle I noticed it was leaking oil from the motor, the vehicle was taken in for service just a few days after being purchased and going through what Lasco claims to be a “point ford inspection”I do not believe this inspection they claim to perform was ever done, they let me purchase and leave with a out front running light on the vehicle and a oil leak which was not initially noticed by myself until the vehicle sat in my driveway and left a oil spot
Once taken in for service, several days later I was told the vehicle was fixed & to come pick it upI picked the truck up had it for one weekend, 2-days before retuning it again with the same issues, the light still out and still leaking oilweeks went by without anyone calling to update me on the vehicle, I called to see what was going on with my vehicle and was told the motor was junk, they had bought a used truck and swapped motorsI was un

Very poor customer service We were charged for a repair to a new vehicle purchased there that was caused by a rodent making a nest in the vehicle We owned the vehicle wks and put 8k miles on it The vehicle sat idle for months before we purchased it, and tree debris found in the nest was discovered under the hood when we first inspected it with our salesman We have no tree on our property that generates such debris None of this mattered We were stuck with a repair bill on a brand new vehicle

Purchased a Ford Edge on 9/29/ They ran my credit and announced that was an amazing credit scorepeople who worked there commented on itThe sales rep goes back to work on financing and comes back with an month plan and 4% interest through a bank other than Ford creditI thought odd, but asked about 0% He said let me check and comes back with 0% for months, which means about dollars more a month and pay off soonerNo brainerI pick the 0% Asked why they didn't offer as an option and why I had to askWas told they didn't know That was the finance depart Take home and wait on my registration Never comes Stop at dealershipThey tell me it should be coming I ask repeadiy to have the manager, *** *** call me I'm told he was given the info but chose not to call his customer I return to *** today to again inquire about my registration and now also to ask why after weeks I still don't have the titleTold that title comes from Ford creditI

This is going to be a long paragraph, so I apologize in advance *sorry*
I purchased a car from Lasco Ford on January 11, On January the car starting having a major issue with the radio / steering wheel changing the radioI called Lasco Ford right away to ask if they could fix the issue for meThey stated “No” and that they will not be covering any of the cost of the repair because I did not get the extended warrantyI do understand that an extended warranty MAY have covered an issue like this and I would have been ok with paying for even half of the repairMy issue is that I have only had the car for two weeks and they would not cover ANYTHINGSeriously? After two weeks? I have not even put miles on the car yetIf the car had come into the dealership with this issue, it would have been taken care of before selling the carIt makes me wonder now if the car did come into the dealership with this issue and they put a band aid over itAlso, if the car had this issue and I had noticed it before purchasing the vehicle, they would have repaired it for free so that I would purchase the carThe manager Pat stated he will not help me out in any wayI also made Pat aware that Lasco did not fill up my gas tank as promised and there were two pieces missing from the car when I purchased itThis was not even a huge deal to meI do have a major issue with a company that will not stand behind the vehicles that they are selling
I ended up having to take my vehicle to Huntington Ford in Rochester Hills MI on February 1, My total cost for fixing the radio was $This is a cost that would have been minimal to Lasco, but they decided that my current business and future business was not worth itIt would not even have cost Lasco Ford this much since they would pay a minimal amount for laborLasco got their money out of me up front so the second I left the dealership, I meant nothing to themWhat a terrible way to run a businessI never go on websites and complain, but for the first time I am because this is that ridiculous
A little piece of advice, if you’re going to purchase a vehicle from Lasco Ford (JUST DON’T AT ALL) make sure you’re prepared to pay out of pocket for any issue you may has as soon as you leave the parking lot
Also, if you’re looking to purchase a Ford vehicle, I recommend Huntington Ford of Rochester HillsThey fixed my car and were very professionalThey even covered the cost of a rental vehicle from Enterprise so I would have something to drive
*THE ATTACHED PICTURES SHOW THE DATE OF PURCHASE FROM LASCO FORD AND THE REPAIR DATE FROM HUNTINGTON FORD*

I purchased a vehicle for a total 'out the door price', taxes and fees included only to find out when trying to get my title that I owed and additional $to the titling departmentThe issue is due to Lasco Ford staff/management not knowing (or deliberately under calculating) the taxes owed to the county I live inAn inquiry was made about this situation with the salesman and his response was that I would have to pay the additional amount, even though they now know that they did not properly check on the tax amount that would be owed when they made the saleSo in essence, the dealership was able to keep the additional money for their profit, instead of paying the correct amount for taxes so that I could title my car at the price we had agreed uponAfter being disconnected from my salesman twice, while trying to come to some kind of agreement on this issue, no one at the dealership answered the phones when I tried to call twice more

TERRIBLE! The WORST car buying experience ever! Quoted us a price over the phone and after we drove over an hour to get there, they raised the price! My wife and three kids were there for almost five hours! After finally settling on a price (which only ended up being$below what we THOUGHT was the original asking price from the phone call from a salesperson that morningthe vehicle' s front tire goes flat! Bad valve stem on the tire that somehow didn't get noticed on their"safety inspection"! My wife and three kids are left stranded on the side of the highway on a degree hot day! Even the towing service agreed that valve stem was dealership fault and should have been caught! It gets worse! RJ, the manager, wanted US to pay for the repairs and they would"reimburse" us!!! He tells us that Lasco doesn't have "a credit card" to pay for the bill! Really? How about the one in your back pocket!!! They paid for the towing service...but NOW they seem to have no way to pay for repair! A

They paid for the towing service...but NOW they seem to have no way to pay for repair! Any other dealership WOULD have made it right! When asked to speak to his boss, he stated, "I AM the boss...probably NOTTheir manager, RJ, is unfortunately, a very dishonest personReally lacks integritySo after being lied to about the selling price...tells Belle tire that WE have to pay for it!!! Not to mention, vehicle only came with ONE set of keys AND was missing a floor mat!!! REALLY DISAPPOINTED!!! We will be contacting local news to report this to consumer affairs!!! This is NOT how you treat peopleI work for the State of Michigan, and unfortunately, I will be going out of my way to spread the wordVERY FrustratedMost likely will be returning vehicle back to themPLEASE be careful of doing business with Lascowouldn't want what happened to us to have happen to anyone else How does this have an A- rating when there are all negative reviews and complaints? Any other dealership would fix this and make this right You can forget about "Family Owed" experience They just want to line their own pockets I noticed that they own multiple businesses in the Fenton and Grand Blanc area I would stay clear of all of them We were just gong home from the dealership when this all happened Now what is going to happen?

Tried to rip me off ! Requested service on recall , instead told I needed a battery! Never addressed recall! Immediately went to Auto Zone where they ran codes , indicating problem with clutch ( recall) and tested battery( volts / perfect) Not to be trusted!

By far, the worst dealership and car buying experience imaginableAfter finding what I initially thought was a great deal online, my wife and I went in to take a look at the Ford Explorer Sport we had foundCar looked great, ran great, and only had ~12k miles! After trying to get a fair trade for my Escape and being told by the salesman that delivery for our car was not an option (even though his boss came out and told us they do it all the time) we were on our wayBefore we left, we discussed the issue of a power rear foldING seat that didn't work, a large scratch in the drivers side door and a squeaky sun roof, all of which we were assured would be fixed when we got our carFast forward about weeks later, car shows up and only thing that was fixed was the paint, even though it had a cloudy appearanceCalled the dealer back, told them the issue, and they told me that if I brought the car back (which is hours from my house) they would fix it and give me a loaner for the time the car was in the shopmore weeks go by and my "fixed" Explorer is delivered back, only it was not fixedPower seat was still not fixed and jagged pieces of broken glass were in the cup holder next to the seat my year old would sit inOn top of the glass (which was unbelievable) the car had greasy hand prints all overThroughout all of this, I was in contact with the Salesman, SS (not mentioning his name, but if you shop there, look up the initials)After talking to him multiple times, he informed me that there "are literally thousands of moving parts on a vehicle" and that a few bad here and there are not a big dealREALLY!??!? The guy didn't seem the care about us after the sale, even after we found that LASCO didn't contact Ford Credit to pay off the Escape, thus resulting in me having car paymentsAfter bringing this to their attention, I had to work with Ford Credit and Lasco, and after about months and a few choice words, the issue was resolvedNow, fast forward to this eveningA loud crack! and boom, a piece of the "repaired" sunroof came downNow we need to take it to another dealer since LASCO is incompetentDO NOT SHOP HEREDO NOT STEP FOOT IN THE DOORBY FAR THE WORST CAR SHOPPING EXPERIENCE EVER AND I WILL CONTINUE TO TELL EVERYONE I SPEAK TO THAT BUYING A CAR FROM LASCO IS THE BIGGEST MISTAKE YOU CAN MAKE

[redacted] came in as a store manager of [redacted]. Her frustration is with the [redacted] and the waiting time. To transfer her plate we had to wait for the [redacted] to finish with truck (2015 superduty) registration that she originally purchase before we could transfer It to the new 2017 edge she...

purchased. She was shown the way to get to the lowest amount to finance and out the door along with 0%. Then She was made aware of her partnership qualification being an employee of that department store. Not only was it an opportunity for her to save money with employee pricing also it was explaining incentives she was not aware of. She was showing a full spread of options. To be able to buy a vehicle then traded in three days later and transfer a plate from the original vehicle purchased was a state timing issue because of how quickly the transactions transpired.    [redacted] did nothing wrong with this transaction and actually looked out for the customers best interests to save money.

To whom it may concern,
Lasco Ford can only take responsibility to the contract and terms that the customer reviewed and signed to agreement between themselves and Ford Motor Credit.  The creditworthiness at the current time of wanting to release and Ford Motor Credit's decision to...

require $3,000 for down payment has no reflection of any action taken by Lasco Ford and would only be the responsibility of the customer.  We apologize for any misunderstanding the consumer may have at this time, but, Lasco Ford has upheld to all legal and ethical standards at this time.  Respectfully,
Lasco Ford
