I spoke with the salesperson and he said that you left in such a hurry that he couldn't put the RS in the windowHe called you and you did not pick up the phone or respond to his messageIt amazes me with your vast knowledge of the car business, being a salesperson yourself and a manager that you actually did not come back for your RSYou probably got in your car everyday and didn't see your RS in the window and thought I should stop by Regan Motors and pick that up, but we didn't see you for monthsWe couldn't mail it to you because of the wrong address and you didn't reply to any of our phone callsAlso, that RS is only good for three months, you probably already know thatYou should have stopped by for an extension after the three month period, but you never didWe could have straightened everything out if only stopped by in a timely manner

Hi, You must have miss remembered how this happenedYou did buy a Saab from usYou did not have all the money, we decided to help you out because of your drastic situation at the timeWhen we sent you a bill for the balance due it came back to us with an undeliverable address, we tried
calling you for months to not only collect our payment but to resolve an apparent address issueWe finally got ahold of you six or seven months after you purchased the vehicle, you paid your balance and we got the right address to put on your title paperworkWe completed that paper work within ten days of seeing youYou did open up a DMV investigation on us, we spoke with the DMV multiple times, the DMV came out to our office and pulled your fileAfter examining everything the DMV concluded that we acted in a proper manner and that the DMV investigation is now overI have a feeling that because that didn't work for you, your now trying to use Revdex.com. One of my friends lost his job too, and his license, and his house, and his familyHe is also looking for $120,annual salary just to support his alcohol abuse problemI would love to help him but it would be like burning money, he has to turn it around on his own or it will never work

Revdex.com:I sent a letter by mail this weekend indicating a refund was processed by Mr Regan and outlining my concerns. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 11394573, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to mealthough personally, I would hesitate to recommend this company to anyone.

Complaint: 12612364
I am rejecting this response because:
All cars sold are to have a new RS taped in the right hand front window. About 90% of the automobiles sold and on the road today have money owed on them. I was a car salesman, finance manager and a used car manager and am very familuar with the laws. The DMV found them at fault! I will be receiving a letter from the investagator soon. My telephone number was good my address was accurate. She transposed 66 S. Ventura Ave. to read 665 Ventura Ave. not my fault. They owe the Ventura Superior Court and myself for their mistake. Further they are illegaly letting cars on the road, even for a demonstration ride, with their paper plates covering every license plate. The officer told me this when he wrote me the ticket. I called them numerous times after receiving the ticket, wouldn't you? She is the biggest lier and now is slandering me. Use your common sence and decide. Have you ever purchased a car from a auto dealer? Did they register the car in your name and give you a temporary regestration in the lower right hand side of your window? YES. Did they cover up a valid california license with their advertisement paper plate? NO.Regards,

Hi,We have really tried to help you. We did enter the mileage incorrectly on the paperwork, the salesman is supposed to get the exact mileage of the vehicle when it is sold, so we corrected the mileage statement and had you resign the mileage documents. Our DMV representative did accidentally put...

Regan Motors on the title as lien holder and we are currently in process of removing ourselves. You asked us to re-smog the vehicle because it has been so long sense the last smog and we did. We had no idea you reset the OBDII system, we simply took the vehicle over to our smog station and re-smogged the vehicle. We did everything you requested. I checked the paperwork and you declined buying a warranty and bought the vehicle As-Is. If you are unhappy with your purchase please trade the vehicle in and buy another vehicle, keep in mind an $1800 car is not going to be perfect.

Dear C[redacted], I want to thank you and your daughter for being a customer of Regan Motors and Regan Financial. The $1495 Fee is for VTR (Vehicle Theft Recovery) to guarantee the asset during the length of the loan, and was apart of your 18 year olds approval with no prior credit experience....

If you plan on paying the loan off early, we have no problem pro rating the VTR and removing it from the vehicle. If you were to pay off the vehicle today, we could deduct $1,269.63 from your 10-day pay off which is $5085.85. If you come in the next 10 days with $3,816.22 cash, we can hand deliver the title to you and also the extra key to the vehicle. We'll see you soon, and again thank you for being a customer of ours. Best Regards,G[redacted]nOwner Regan Motors

The responding lady has to be the biggest lair I have ever encountered. According to her, I had to leave quickly! First of all I paid $1,000 for the car as my initial payment without ever seeing the car, it was at an independent mechanics in Thousand Oaks Ca. The salesman and I entered into the contract therein was a “pick up” payment of $350 due at a later date. The car was to be ready for delivery soon thereafter. The salesman also filled out the DMV Recorded Sale. When he was handing it to me I said it needs to go into the lower right front window not in my hand. He kept the original RS with the deal. They gave me a loner to use. I received delivery some month or so later from the mechanic. I had to wait for about three (3) hours as his lot boy/assistant was driving it. After taking delivery I went to R[redacted] motors they were closed. I left the salesman a message to send me the RS.Does anything R[redacted] motors states make any sense to you. First and foremost if you received a $2,000 ticket wherein all you needed was a copy of a current registration and proof of insurance to correct would you contact the dealer? I contacted them on a regular basis, wouldn't you. The salesman transferred me to the lady responding to these complaints. She never returned my calls. When I talked to the salesman he said, “she is waiting to receive the $350 pick up payment first”, that is so illegal, what if every bank did the same virtually every car on the road would be in the last owners name. I shouldn't even know a Ms. L[redacted] was the past owner and have her address. She was responsible to carry insurance during R[redacted]'s and my ownership. Ask them for her telephone number and get her response to me even knowing she was the previous owner. The ticket showed her as the registered owner. Maybe R[redacted] motors could address this gigantic over-site or more likely their everyday method of doing business. This is all about R[redacted] Motors disregard for the DMV laws, laziness and greed. The DMV Supervising Investigator is Ricardo Hernandez 805.654.4711. Mr. [redacted] has promised to send me a letter twice, it is in his bosses hands now. As to me driving by R[redacted] Motors and picking up the RS, making adherence to the DMV laws my responsibility not the dealer is laughable and an insult to your intelligence and apparently now the big issue. First it was illegal for me to drive the car, second I lived in Ventura about 30 miles from R[redacted] Motors, did she want to save the postage and time and trouble to send it to me? The only reason I drove the car when I got the ticket was I had a personal family emergency in Fresno and was forced to drive the car, to avoid detection by the police I left home at about 3AM, see the ticket. Previously attached and a matter of DMV record. The way R[redacted] motors is handling this complaint should indicate the way they conduct business. I have every intention of getting them closed down, they should have quit while they had a chance. The DMV knows the laws and I'm never going to let up. Every reply they have shows their neglect. The salesman was great the business department is incredibly upsetting, uncaring etc. All she had to do was send me the RS but wanted the $350 that wasn't even due, first. It's that simple. A car isn't just any personal property it requires current registration and insurance. Whatever her business background is it has nothing to do with cars. What would have happened if I killed a busload of children? Who would the families recover from? Answer Ms L[redacted]. Address that Ms R[redacted] and bury your company further. My next move is to send a copy of my complaint to her! Good luck if she sews you, I am going to send her a copy of this complaint, inform Mr. Hernandez of this giant over-site.Ms R[redacted] keeps digging a deeper hole. The automobile industry sales tactics are the most scrutinized of any business. Since when is it the customers responsibility to know and adhere to DMV laws when purchasing or trading in a car? Ms R[redacted] also hinted that I was a practicing alcoholic. I'm sure Mr. Hernandez and Ms L[redacted] will be happy she let me, run out of the dealership without waiting for the RS and then keeping the RS and not sending their copy to the DMV thereby having Ms L[redacted] liable for a drunk driving her car. Whoever is reading this please look at what you would do if you were me and/or Ms L[redacted]? Ms R[redacted] is trying to make EVERYTHING my fault. slandering me in the process.Regards,
R[redacted]

Hi, I'm so sorry to hear that you have had some issues with the vehicle. I pulled your file to see which warranty you purchased and you did not purchase any warranty, in fact you bought the vehicle as-is. There is not really much I can do, but I would like to help. I can extend my mechanics to you,...

so you get our labor rate and parts rate to try and save as much money as possible on any repair. Unfortunatly, I can not give you a refund, we signed a contract and that is binding. Imagine if I called all my customers from the weekend that bought cars and told them to return them because the deal didn't make me happy, that's what contracts are for. Let me know if you would like to utilize our mechanics. Thank you.
