I am rejecting this response because:
MrV*** is stating that he called to tell us of lower engine noise "BEFORE" he put the alternator in and that is simply not the caseMrV*** told us "AFTER" he put the alternator in that the car had lower engine noiseAFTERHow would he have known that the car had LOWER ENGINE NOISE as the car had to be towed, because the car was unable to even STARTIt shut off on the road, with no warning, no weird noise, no NOTHINGThe power steering shut down as did the acceleration and the car just died. We would have NEVER agreed to have an alternator put into a vehicle that we would not be able to drive home! Who would??? Right after Mr V*** repaired the vehicle, we IMMEDIATELY broke down, within minutes of leaving Dickson City Laser LubeWe had to have the car TOWED back to Dickson City Laser Lube, right after we paid $to have it REPAIRED! Clearly, a TEST DRIVE was not performed by the Dickson City Laser Lube mechanics, after they put a new alternator into the vehicleOur car DID NOT have any noise when it was brought in and was recently inspected at Dickson City Laser Lube, the SAME business, just a week before, on July 29th, and it PASSED INSPECTION with no problems to noteMrV*** REPLACED the alternator FIRST, prior to informing us of "ENGINE NOISE", when he contacted us to pick up the vehicle and told us that the noise was "no big deal and we would cross that bridge if it ever came to it"We had no idea what NOISE he was even referring to??? What "ENGINE NOISE"??? When my husband drove away, it sounded like a loud HELICOPTER and completely shut down on the side of the roadMr V*** did not even assist us with a tow truck or compensate us in any way, to have it towed back to Dickson City Laser Lube, where he clearly stated that he would ORDER A NEW ALTERNATOR and have it put in the next day, as the alternator he just put in, may in fact, be defectiveMrV*** did NOT follow throughOur trust in Dickson City Laser Lube is in now 0%, and it is disheartening to know that a reputable business owner would be in this position, and not concerned with his customers in the leastWe were unable to drive a car that we just paid to have fixed, and the car should not have been driven off the parking lot and onto the roadWe would like a full REFUND in the amount of $as well as the reimbursement for the tow truck to get the vehicle back to Dickson City Laser LubeWe would appreciate this issue addressed in a timely manner, as it the correct vehicle issue was NEVER diagnosed at Dickson City Laser Lube and due to the complete lack of professionalism by the Manager, MrV***, we would never be able to recommend this automotive center to anyone, as this entire process has been nothing short of an horrible experience

Customer came to us with a bad altinator and belt tensioner We check the altinator and it was putting out enough Altinator was badCar came into us with lower engine noise, I called
customer to tell him/her They told me to put in altinator and tensioner along with belts and we did Altinator was back in and working well Car also had a bad motor and I told customer about it They asked me to give them a price I did and they than called me and told me they were having the car towed to the dealer to have motor work done We did a job that had to be done, altinator, tensioner and belts.It is not my problem that they also have a bad engineWe did our job correctly
