Laser Ray responded to [redacted]'s original complaint regarding her lack of success with the smoking cessation treatment she received.  The subsequent claim that she suffered [redacted] as a result of the treatment is likely without merit.  Laser Ray's services are delivered from a antiseptically clean doctor's office and the laser itself is carefully cleaned and disinfected between each client.  There have been no other claims of this type in all of the years Laser Ray has provided these services.  The suggestion that [redacted] got an ear infection as a result of the treatment is highly unlikely and is more likely associated with her interest in applying pressure in her attempt to get a refund.  As should be expected, quitting smoking is a partnership between the treatment and the patient.  You have to want to quit smoking but also have the resolve to resist the urge to continue smoking.  Because laser therapy, like all smoking cessation treatments, is dependent on the patient following the suggestions to resist the urges in the days following the treatment, the complete success of every client is not something that Laser Ray can guarantee.  This is true of this treatment, or any other type of smoking cessation treatment.  As a result, the offer from Laser Ray to [redacted] was for an additional free treatment to help her quit smoking.Laser Ray is as committed as each of their clients is to wanting to stop smoking.  Laser Ray restates the offer of a free treatment if [redacted] truly wants to quit. Respectfully,[redacted]On behalf of [redacted] (Laser Ray)

Dyan D. I used Laser Ray August 22nd, 2015. I have been a non-smoker since then. There is no magic way to quit smoking and it takes a little more than the laser itself. Laser Ray gave me great advice on how to keep off cigarettes - I used cinnamon toothpicks and everytime I thought of smoking I moved around and changed my thoughts. I had tried to quit a few times before and this was the best way to do it. I had smoked 2 packs a day for 25 years. You need to do the work, its hard! After a few months - I never thought of smoking again! So happy that I quit. Thanks Laser Ray!

Review: I went to laser ray for a stop smoking laser treatment then after following all of his instructions the treatment didn't work .I then called [redacted] with my dissatisfied results ,he talked me into another treatment telling me that I must be a hard case and that probably 2 treatments are required .after a few days I called [redacted] and informed him that I had no positive results for his treatments he pushed on me and requested a refund of even a partial refund being fair ,[redacted] then became obnoxious and rude talking about his positive results with other patients which I could care less about . [redacted] then tried to lure me into purchasing more treatments at a discounted price which I thought was absurd. still to this day I had no positive results what so ever from his so called overwhelming positive results from other patients treatment. I also have a neighbor down the block from me that had same results as me in this situation a new York city homicide detective that was also totally disappointed in his negative results.Desired Settlement: I am not being totally unfair when I believe I am entitled to either a refund or partial refund from this placebo treatment

Thank for your feedback. As a former smoker, I know how hard quitting smoking can be. I, like most people, found laser treatments to be a very safe and effective way to quit smoking for good. I believe in this so much, I have dedicated my life to helping people end their nicotine addiction and get on the path to a healthier life. Like all smoking cessation methods, there is no guarantee that it will work, but I do offer a 2nd treatment within 6 weeks of the first, and I did provide that in my sincere attempt to help [redacted] quit. I also offer a booster for only $75 if needed anytime during your first year.

I'm sorry [redacted] was unsuccessful in his effort to quit smoking using this method. Quitting smoking is also about your mental mindset. I combine laser treatments with proven behavioral modification techniques. If you would like to discuss this issue further, please call me at ###-###-####. I cant believe this giy is still in business,what a bunch of crap.Total waste of 300 bucks, didn't want to give a receipt and only took cash.I hope the IRS catches him.

Review: I called laser ray he was beyond convincing that I would quit smoking. The laser would subside cravings and then immediately gave me a appt that evening. I explained I was a single pparent , smoked, needed to quit because of the above and for 300 this needs to work. He told me to bring my cigarettes and any other aid I had. Therefore bringing him my nicorette gum,never used, nicorette patches,never used and a pack of cigarettes. I have them over. He spoke about his friends in a band,pizza from Manhattan and never focused on anything. He never did my hands, fingers or wrists. I don't know if he cleaned the laser gun. I had 2[redacted] the entire month since leaving there. I called and he said he would do a 1hour or more session for free. I feel very uncomfortable , very then advantage of and he promised this would work. Why should I need to go back again? He also told me that cinnamon was in cigarettes and I should buy cinnamon toothpicks. That was another 10. I felt vulnerable, lied to and definitely taken advantage of. Especially telling my 9yo I wouldn't be smoking.Desired Settlement: I want a refund for going through this horrible and humiliating time. For being lied to, conned and scammed into this because I'm addicted to smoking. I want a refund for 310, service that wasn't provided as said. 10 for toothpicks not used. And my reimbursement for nicorette gum and patches never used. Pocket size 14. Dollars. Patches as well.
