Review: I went to Laser Touch Aesthetics at their location in Garden City, NY for a consultation on laser hair removal. I was told that the laser process was permanent hair removal that took four to six sessions to complete. I signed up for six sessions at their special of $38 per session and had the first treatment immediately. After seeing a slight reduction of lip hair after a couple of treatments I paid six sessions at the same rate for hair removal on my chin because I was warned that if the hair lost pigment (turned gray or white), the laser treatment would not work. After one treatment on my chin,I was surprised when a section of the area treated grew in white. I was advised to do an electrolysis session for the white hairs and complied because I was expecting permanent hair removal as was promised. I completed all six sessions of laser on lip and have one remaining on the chin. I did see approximately 40% improvement on the lip but when was very upset to see virtually no lessening of chin hair. If I were to wax instead of the ineffective laser treatments, I would be able to do so for more than 3 yrs for the same amount of money. I therefore feel, I am entitled for a refund on services that did not do what was promised.Desired Settlement: 60% of hair removal on lip =$136.80

and

100% of hair removal on chin = $228

I met with [redacted] on Saturday to assess remaining; hair and review laser hair removal process. [redacted] has at least 40% reduction on her upper lip, but less on her chin. The remaining hair appears to be finer and less dense with the exception of two or three hairs, so it is apparent that the laser and techniques we have used a re effective. We discussed hormonal influence on chin hair for women in general. She denied that this could be a factor. The consent states that permanent hair removal requires more than one treatment and total number of treatments varies from person to person. Over the course of treatments [redacted] was given two complimentary treatments. She has one remaining chin treatment in her initial package.

[redacted] was given a complimentary lip and chin treatment on Saturday, and was offered another complimentary treatment in two weeks. She wanted to know exactly how many more treatments she would need, and due to the process varying from person it is impossible to predict

Laser Touch will offer any further treatments at 50% off our regular pricing. We have left two voice mails for Kathleen, but have not heard back as to her acceptance or rejection of the offer.I will reiterate offer and process at her follow up appointment next Saturday.

Review: I was really excited about my carboxy therapy. I started my package of 4 for $1049 and plus 18% tip. First session she did a good job. then after that the young lady at the [redacted] location started to do some shady things. I was doing the stretch mark removal on the back and side of my knee 3 or 4 stretch marks on the back and most of them are on the side of my knees so for $250 a session I would ask her to concentrate on the side of the knee but no she didn't do that I would tell her each time "the side please" and she would try to talk me to death and sell me product and then she would say im done. I would look and say you didn't get the side again then she would tell me next time she will hook me up next time I come it would be the same story. plus my clothes was always [redacted] not professional at all.well she said that 3 times until the last session but the thing that [redacted] me off is when she was looking at the progress. the back of the knees were faded but the sides were still very visible compared to to the back she said. "oh I didn't even do that part just imagine if I was doing that part too it would be like the back you definitely have to buy 4 more so I can do the sides tooo. well if she was doing the part that was agreed on from the initial consultation all would be faded and I wouldn't need 4 more specially when she said the back part of my knees only need 2 more. I think she is shady. I was so upset I paid her over $200 in tips and I left like it was deliberate like she would try to sell me stuff to take my mind off asking her again about the side. its so sad I am not ok knowing that I kept asking her about doing a better job so I can be a satisfied customer but that was not the case. But at least she got me to buy some laser packages but I opted to got o the soho locations instead cause I am extremely upset with the job this young lady did.Desired Settlement: I want my money back. if I go somewhere to get a job done and I am short changed in this manner I think its only right for me to get partial payment back including my tip cause she was not right I feel like she con me. she obviously wanted me to purchase more packages and saw show fast the treatments worked for me so she didn't do all the stretch marks at once.
