Review: I needed a crown due to a cracked tooth, I had just switched over to another insurance and [redacted] was not in Plan with [redacted]. Instead of canceling my appointment I asked the girl how much it would cost me out of pocket. I watched her contact [redacted] and she told me it would cost out of pocket $452.00. At that time she printed out the statement that [redacted] would cover 65%. I paid 226.00 that day, when I sat in the chair the Dentist asked me to sign the computer screen showing the amount I agreed to pay. I didn't have my glasses on but found out I signed an amount of 600.00. no big deal. Until the bill came to my attention that it is now 912.00. Spoke to [redacted] and was informed by her that it was [redacted]'s fault and they do this all the time and that [redacted] would not lower the cost to what I was originally quoted. A learning experience, yes. Poor Business practice from [redacted] ...Yes. I am the type of person that will give word of mouth to people when I have a good experience with something but will also advise people on bad experiences I had. They have since lost Myself, my wife, her father and the 2 families that I recommended using this company before it changed the name to [redacted]Desired Settlement: The original quote was $452.00. When I sat in the chair the same day it went to $600.00. then the final bill went to $912.00. The receptionist told me that if I went in plan that day it would have only costed me $366.00. I told the receptionist that I did not want to cancel and be a no show so I would pay the $452.00. I believe the only Monies owed by me to [redacted] is the Agreed $452.00. I have since paid the total bill
