I have the copies of the email directly from Lori that clearly states she would refund the money. She said, ". I still feel it would be best to show your daughter that he is ok. I can send you videos or you can visit him. Please let me know what vet you went to for the emergency so we can explain this to them also. I can refund your credit card or send you a check once I hear from you we will get this on the way. First please know that the adoption was under the name *** ***, not *** ***, for easy look up on files attached I put both last names along with the ID number After reading the complaint I do want you to know, *** was never given an option of a
refund. Contract Attached: if you read paragraph 2on the first page of the contract, it states the adoption fees are a tax deductible donation and is not refundable. Page item please note she signed off that we answered all questions page under Medical issues we disclosed all information which she signed off on page *** signed off on the adoption agreement At the time of the appointment we also told her that we cannot be reached by phone form Saturday night til Monday morning, if she needed to contact LCR to e-mail k-9training e-mail which is on our business card that was stapled inside of the information folder which she took home with her. 2nd attachment:*** posted on our *** ***;Lori M*** (*** no longer her last name) responded , it is an overview of the situation. Lori did e-mail her about a refund and also wanted to return the puppy at  at first, but after much going back and forth we realized that the puppy was not sick due to any type of illness coming from LCR, but was sick due to the family not taking proper care of the puppy.  Along with the fact that she was not truthful with Lori, she said she took the dog to the vet, we found out this did not happen. Because of the two factors I mentioned above we do not feel she is due   a refund and LCR is holding true to our contract.
