This is Lastime home exteriors LLC, writing a response, to a complaint, that was filed, on December fifth 2017, by the said customers: Roni and Randolf WilliamsIt is true that we are not in compliance, of a roofing licenseIn our defense the said customers were fully aware, of this situation
Truth be told, Lastime refused signing them up, with our companyThey, then responded they did not care if we were licensedThey did not want to spend extra amount of dollars, on a licensed companykeep in mind, the customers could of at anytime make us leave the job.Let me add our crew chief, that performed the said job has over years, of experience, in the construction tradeHe, and I recently opened up Lastime, as a mom and pop business, not yet having all, of our credentials in placeWe also come highly recommended, by our long list, of previous customersLet me also add I have before, and after pictures of this job, and all our receipts are in orderIn response of their electrical problem. There was never a electrical line cutThere was, however one nail shot through one, single wire. The reason for this incident was as noted. The previous electrician failed to run the electrical wires under the rafter boards, instead the wires were ran atop the rafter boards, leaving the wires exposedthe customers were fully aware of the situation at hand, but refused to hire an electrician, leaving this dilemma up to usWe notched the boards, harnessed the wires and proceeded covering with plywood in return, hitting wireAgain the customer did not want to have an electrician on boardwe lifted the plywood, pulled the nail and fixed the problemLights fully recovered. There was a bad unannounced thunderstorm during the installation of the roof, due to all of the hurricanes this yearThe storm tore off a section of synthetic paper that we applied to one side of the roof, some water was then left to penetrate through onto a ft radius of their kitchen tile floor that was located between living room entrance and kitchenThe customer made us fully aware of the situation via phonesoon as we received the call we immediately went to the job site and fixed the leak and the 6ft of wet tile, A minute procedure, problem fixedno more leaks in their home environmentWe were alerted the next day of water in light fixtures which then removed fixtures to allow drying before installing, this problem addressed and fixed.Regards to trash problem, our motto at lastime is to do daily cleanup, unless a customer request picking through for salvageable items, as was requested by these customersas far a large trash bin made available, unless this large can was transparentthen there was no trash can therethe owners marked a spot for all trash and debris for rummagingT,he ranch hand was then responsible for, dumping trash on the back portion of property in an assigned hole where he proceeded to burn' leaving the imagination wondering how a calf might have swallowed plasticall we did, was go the distance trying to please our customers need and requestWe do admit nails punching through porch rafter boardsWe at lastime clipped the tips of the nails to their dissatisfactionWe came up with a mutual solutionwe installed by trim boards perpendicular therefore covering all clipped nail holesTo our knowledge the customers were fully satisfied with the application until we read this complaintBy the way there was a 3\inch gap not there inch guesslet me add boards are not all perfect and the house was out of square we applied deck boards and worked with them best we could to our knowledgefar as being a rough sewn board, this became the request of the customer, for a cowboy style lookAgain to our knowledge they were totally satisfied with this style of boardConcerning a on going problem with water leaks, their were no more added leaks other then the one mentioned earlier due to unannounced thunderstormsLet me add we caused no damage to this homewhen we arrived on this job there was three hay tarps atop roofnot to mention the discovery of bowls buckets and pans that were discovered after tearing off the roofWe have pictures of this dilemma if needed of this remarkable discoveryThere own insurance adjuster would not give them a claim on the dishwasher due to water damageHe also said no water damage to ceiling fans just poor installation or no damage to drywall just no taped drywall seamsconcerning the sky lights, they were as old as the houseYou could pick the glass up off the rotten woodAs a matter of fact the brackets would no longer hold the sky lights in placeThe customer again was made aware of this problemthey wanted to fix the sky lights, instead of replacing themwe wrapped caulked and reframed the sky lights to accommodate the roof colorI also have before and after pictures of the skylightsConcerning the porch damage to the NW end of the porchtotally false, we witnessed the ranch hand remove a bush beneath the porch eaves with a chain and bucket from a tractor then lifting bucket causing the damagethey refused to believe usconcerning the vents being paintedwe have receipts for the paint they chose to stay with the original color for their cowboy need lookAs far as money switching handsthe only money we received, was money only for materialagain we have receipts for the 20,dollars spentThe customer only mentioned the price of the metal in .this complaintkeep in mind we totally stripped roof from bottom to top. sincerely lastime home exteriors

I am rejecting this response because: Have to be registered. It has not just opened as also stated by the BoardThere's is an investigation being done by the board They never refused signingThey had even done a bid Febwe spent out of pocket for the lift they needed & couldn't afford.As well as other materials to fix what they had messed upWe do have other receipts from lumber & others that doesn't total 20kIt was said they used some of it for payroll which as our mortgage company said it was not intended for that*** had said our metal couldn't be cut for less than 20k, We couldn't let them go according to the contract.They were fired yrsago for no show & poor workmanship as well As advised by attorney we have repeatedly requested all pics as we had never written or signed a consent for pictures to ever be takenThe "transparent" trash cans sitting next to their trailer that was left in our yard *** admitted his son *** had cut the electrical lines twice & had his nephew Thomas fix themThere are no harnesses in placeThe 1st the rain came in we cleaned it upThat was of many timesWe still have the leaking and there is a current claimThe claim is still openThe calf got trash in its mouth was not in the main field*** suggested the 1x2s to us when agreed there was no way to clip them off They didn't recommend the sewn board we simply replacedSkylights were in perfect shapeWe have an invoice from Ada Glass by the owner as to the integrity of themI was standing in the yard & their son used a nail puller & pulled up all frame They also closed in the skylights above the glass which leaves no place for water to drain, and now leaks into the frames & walls screws sitting on the skylightsThe pipes for the vents are not paintedWe also still have the foam coming out in multiple placesHave pics & videos everything.
