I'm only giving one star because it wouldn't allow me to give zero! I was referred to this company by a co-worker (though I probably should have checked the ratings before wasting my time)Dealt with Andrea (who I believe is a family member of someone in management)She came out, measured my sliding glass doors, and walked me through my optionsI negotiated a cash price and gave them a check for close to $9kI had three days after I signed the sales contract to change my mind - which I did - and opted to go with sliding french doors without a grid vs my original order of sliding french doors with a grid I called Andrea on day two and asked for an updated quote (as it would have been significantly less) and she said she would get back to me same day...but didn'tThe following Monday I still didn't have an updated quote and had to follow up againThis time Andrea sent the quote, but it was for the wrong amount (not the cash discount I had negotiated on the front end)I called her AGAIN to clarify and asked for yet another updated quoteOnce the correct quote was received, she apparently decided to consider my original 90% deposit as "payment in full" without my approval and instead of issuing a refund for the close to $1,difference said I would be cut a check for $- keep in mind it takes a month or two for the install to even see the light of day and your only recourse if the job isn't done right is to withhold the remaining 10% balanceWhen I called to discuss with her, she became very sarcastic and unprofessional to the point where I started to worry about the quality of both the final product and the installation and said "I'm starting to wonder if I should go with another vendor." Andrea responded "I think that would be a great idea" and hung up on me Livid, I decided to cancel my order entirely and get my money backI don't need to pay anyone $9K to treat me like garbage, especially when the errors were continuously hers!!! You don't just change the terms of the contract without the customer's approval and it all felt a bit sketchyThey certainly made a "lasting impression" - one that I will make sure everyone within earshot hears aboutThe sad part (for them) is I had every intention of using them to replace my windows next year as well (not to mention have family members looking to do the same), but apparently crappy customer service is the only thing they are selling Don't waste your timeFind a company that delivers BOTH a quality product and treats you with respect!!!

I, *** *** am writing on behalf of my parents who are elderly doors were purchase and installed I noticed there is a gap between the two doors that my elderly parents can easily trip and fall I noticed it when I actually did trip I did go to the company to see if the issue could be fix My brother and I was told we could purchase a piece or my brother can put a piece of wood in the gap so my parents wouldn't trip I feel someone should come out and assess the problem and fix it at no cost My parents paid enough and I feel they are being taken advantage of because of their age Also, if the company knew it would leave such a wide gap then they should have never sold my parents this and should have been offered something else

I had a new door installed where an old door had been The installer did anawful job of trimming the door after installing it Totally unprofessional His answer to repairing the stucco damage when the old door was removed was to cover everything with CAULK He did not attempt to properly repair the stucco he damaged while removing the doorThere was thick white CAULK down the sides of the door on the out side and over the door on the inside On the top of the door outside was grey goop that had not dried in hrs When I tried to remove it my gloves stuck together and I eventually had to use acetone to get it off I repaired the horrible job correctly and used real stucco and trimmed the caulk around the door like the directions say The sales man said he would get back to me He saw the photos I sent of the lousy job which I would be glad to share with Revdex.com I have not heard a word from anyone at Lasting Impressions

There was thick white CAULK down the sides of the door on the out side and over the door on the inside. On the top of the door outside was grey goop that had not dried in 24 hrs. When I tried to remove it my gloves stuck together and I eventually had to use acetone to get it off.
