Hello,
This is in response to the complaint below. We worked on this vehicle in April of 2013. The customer sent us a message via facebook and said he had two other shops look at the vehicle. When we asked him to bring the car in, he stated that he is unable to get the vehicle to us during normal business hours and requested that we stay open later or meet him after hours at a car show to diagnose his vehicle, neither of which is feasible for us. Additionally, we called the two shops he said looked at the vehicle,[redacted] Engine and Transmission and C&S Performance. C&S said they never looked at the car, and [redacted] said that the transmission isn't strong enough to handle the power the motor is creating, causing the 3-4 clutch pack to wear out prematurely. Also, [redacted] stated the linkage is correct but is not currently adjusted correctly. We adjusted the linkage correctly when the vehicle left in April of 2013 with standard procedures, anything adjusted after that over a year and 2500 miles later we cannot be liable for. [redacted] also provided the customer with a quote to upgrade the transmission for his setup to resolve the slipping problem he is experiencing. [redacted] stated that they did not tell the customer that the cable or brackets used were incorrect, just that the current position is not correct. Since we know it was correct when the car drove out of here, we are assuming it has been adjusted and worked on since. We are still happy to take a look at the vehicle during normal business hours and collaborate with [redacted] Engine and Transmission on the diagnosing and repair of this vehicle. However, we and [redacted] both feel that the failure he is experiencing is due to the vehicle making too much power for a stock transmission and that we installed the correct parts. If you have any other questions please feel free to contact us. Thank you.

Revdex.com:
I met with LMT today and am satisfactory with the conclusion of our discussion.  I was misinformed from a variety of people that had more knowledge than what I have.  When I take this information in as I hear it, I drew the conclusion I came to.  The trans builder says transmission is bullet proof.  LMT put the bracket in.    C&S said its the wrong.   [redacted] said the bracket isn't right and it would have to be looked at upon upgrade of existing 700R4 transmission.   That is the information I had to work with, it all adds up in my mind that the wrong bracket is what cause my transmission to slip.    In reality, the transmission WASN'T bullet proof.  C&S said its wrong, but he didn't tell me its still okay.  In later discussions I had with C&S, it was said that 700R4's aren't capable of handling the power.   [redacted] said the bracket isn't adjusted properly for my current set up, it would have to be looked at upon upgrade.  Not that its the wrong bracket.    I'm going to have to move forward now, to a new transmission.  A quote for upgrade was requested to LMT, for a TH400 conversion, I hope to hear soon.   I appreciate everybody's input and apologize for the misunderstandings to all involved.  I still hold LMT at a high regard.
Regards,
