was purchased on a Sunday,May 24, The dress cost with alteration included was $300.00, the receipt states it and I can provide a copy to Revdex.com upon requestGoing back on my records of events we purchased dresses one for $and the second one which is my daughters graduation dress for the price of $and on this dress Mrs [redacted] offered to give a complimentary tailoring given that the exact dress my daughter wanted was not available but the same one but in a longer not short version was availableMy daughter and myself were measured by the tailor and Mrs [redacted] , they marked a sample dress for my daughter with her measurements by inserting pins in the areas that were to be tailoredWith my dress tailoring I was hesitant to purchase as I needed this dress ready by Saturday May 30, Mrs [redacted] offered to have the dress ready by Friday, May 29, and was very accommodating and pleasant, she even told me a story of how she had a customer that was mad at her and how they were talking bad about her and she had kicked her out a couple of minutes ago because she was very rudeThat should have been a sign for me when an owner talks bad about his or her customers to other customers that shows the lack of customer service in a businessWith the matter of not bringing in my shoes that day, Mrs [redacted] is correct, I did not bring in my shoes which were the heels I were to wear with the dress they were inches highMrs [redacted] was pleasant and lent me heels that were at her business these were silver sparkly inch heels which she had on display in the storeUsed the shoes while they were measuring for alterations and it was marked that the dress would be altered one inch above my ankle and this was measured with the shoes onThis was something I choose so when I would wear my inch heels the dress would be high enough not to hit the floor and for my shoes to be visibleRegarding the cap sleeves, this was something offered by Mrs [redacted] , she stated that with the material left from the bottom of the dress she would be able to great cap sleeves as complimentaryThought that was nice of her to offer and was astonished at how she was very accommodatingWhile taking the measurements she was called by another client and had her brother who is the in house tailor finish my measurementsUpon payment of the dress I asked Mrs [redacted] again if she were able to have my dress ready by May 30, she reinforced that she would have it ready by Friday May 29, I told her that my schedule and a commute to her shop to make it before 6:pm was not possible on Friday as I lived outside of San Francisco and between the hours of 3:00pm-7:00pm traffic was very bad and it would make it difficult to get to San Francisco on timeShe was very accommodating again and told me to call her if I was able to make it and if not she would have my dress ready by Saturday May 30, as she knew I needed the dress for an event On Saturday, May 30, I went to pick up my dress and the dress was not altered as measured it would be, the dress was dragging from the bottom and it looked like one inch was removed and not the inches that were markedThis dress was very long and needed a big part of it removed and fixed as the bottom was a mermaid style type of dressMrs [redacted] was not at the business that day but her brother brought me the dress and I asked him what happened he said that he wasn't given the measurements properly by Mrs [redacted] , this was puzzling because I witnessed when the measurements were given to him by Mrs [redacted] on May 24, He stated that he was never told to add the cap sleeves nor that the dress should have been ready on Saturday, May 30, I asked him what should I do with the dress then should I leave it or take it with me as he kept calling Mrs [redacted] and he was unable to reach her by phoneHe advised to take the dress with me and told me he would inform Mrs [redacted] about this matter and he advised to come back with the dressSince I was scheduled to pick up my daughters dress on June 7, 2015, I went ahead and came back a week after on Sunday , June 7, as I was scheduled that dayMy daughter and myself get to her business and my daughters dress was not tailored according to the measurements Mrs [redacted] had taken, the straps were very long and were not altered accordingly, but I told her that was ok since we needed her dress for her graduation on Thursday, June 11, Mrs [redacted] was accommodating and took my measurements again and for my dress which she explained that her brother the in house tailor did not take the measurements correctly and it was his fault the dress was not tailored correctly, she did not apologize but offered to correct the tailoringShe stated that the dress would be ready in weeks which I was fine withRegarding the overhaul she is talking about, Mrs [redacted] offered to fix the tailoring and she was able to cut it as short as I wantedShe suggested that she could have the dress tailored to go inches below my knee and add a side slit to the dress and once again she brought up adding cap sleeves to the dressThe dress was to stay the same only cutting the bottom and adding a small slit on the right side and she would use the lace that was left over to add small cap sleeves which she demonstrated that it was fairly easy to do with laceThe measurements were taken for this by Mrs [redacted] and was very accommodating and creative with the ideas she was presenting on how to tailor the dress as this was a way of compensating that my dress was not tailored accordinglyWhile in the fitting room with her she began to cry and say that she didn't know what to do with her customers coming in today for some gold items that were missing as her store was vandalized recentlyI felt sympathy towards the situation and told her that everything would be ok as long as she spoke with the customer and if she had business insurance she should be able to fix these mattersShe also stated that she was stressed due to the rents going higher each year and she commented on gentrification in the Mission area in San Francisco as small businesses were affected daily by big companies coming in, once again I heard her and sympathized with herI left that day and was reassured by Mrs [redacted] that the dress would be ready in weeks and I told her thank you and left my dress there with her, trusting that she would have it ready by then Time passed [redacted] and I called Latin Bridal on Saturday, August 8, to ask if I can go pick up my dress, the lady that answered asked me when I had left my dress and what was my name and she asked for a description of the dressI gave her the information and she went to look for my dress but came back to the phone and stated that my dress was no where to be foundThis startled me and I asked to speak with Mrs [redacted] , once on the phone with Mrs [redacted] , I asked her if my dress was there as I wanted to pick up my dressHer response was "where else do you think your dress would be at if you left it here it should still be here and you need to schedule an appointment to pick up the dress." I ask her why do I need an appointment to pick up the dress is it not ready and her reply was, "your dress is ready but we are so busy with appointments that I may not be able to help you." I told her that was fine and asked her when her next appointment was, she stated her next appointment was Sunday, August 9, at 12:pm., and I took that appointment slot On Sunday, August 9, 2015, I came in at 12:pm as scheduled to pick up my dressMrs [redacted] , her brother, and another gentleman working at the register were present and all stepped to the back of the store to look for my dressAfter minutes of waiting someone came into the store, this is announced by bells or a sound when someone steps into the store and the 3rd gentleman that worked the register came out to help the gentlemanI asked him if they had my dress and he said they couldn't find my dress but were looking for itAfter minutes of waiting my dress was found and was placed in a fitting room for me to tryoutAs I walked into the fitting room the dress was not tailored and it was visibly noticed that the dress was cut not in a straight line and cut in the bottom as a half circle cut from one end, front left side going up and going down towards the other end on the right hand sideThe cut was above the knee and the dress looked destroyed from the bottomThe cap sleeves that were promised by Mrs [redacted] were not on the dress, I was shocked and felt horr

Hello Ms. [redacted]
Thank you for the response! My response to this matter is as follows:
**Sorry for the long explanation but I gave bits and pieces previously and should have provided a full story to avoid misunderstandings.**
This dress was purchased on a Sunday,May 24, 2015. The dress cost with alteration included was $300.00, the receipt states it and I can provide a copy to Revdex.com upon request. Going back on my records of events we purchased 2 dresses one for $300.00 and the second one which is my daughters graduation dress for the price of $188 and on this dress Mrs. [redacted] offered to give a complimentary tailoring given that the exact dress my daughter wanted was not available but the same one but in a longer not short version was available. My daughter and myself were measured by the tailor and Mrs. [redacted], they marked a sample dress for my daughter with her measurements by inserting pins in the areas that were to be tailored. On Sunday, August 9, 2015, I came in at 12:00 pm as scheduled to pick up my dress. Mrs. [redacted], her brother, and another gentleman working at the register were present and all 3 stepped to the back of the store to look for my dress.
