Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:We do not accept MrB***'s statement that "no one has complained about the diesel fuel" at the service station at Latitudes on Rio Rancho is not correct- On May 3, 2017, on *** ***, by a customer/user "***" stated "sold me diesel that had bad gas in it and destroyed my DuramaxDoesn't want to settle the bill with me! $31,plus $6,for lost wages.- On September on *** ***, by a customer/user from "***" They had Unleaded Fuel! inside the Diesel lines! Messed up my whole truck, then the manager says "we can't do anything for you besides give you the carries who did it to them ! Phone number smh bad business business all around !AGAIN - On May 21, at 7:pm, we filled our tank with in excess of gallons of diesel fuelThe very next morning upon departure, heading east toward Tucumcari, NM we experienced severe engine problems - that continued the entire trip back to our destination of Central TennesseeThe truck was taken to the dealer ship for repairs - it was determined that bad fuel had damaged fuel injectors. We strongly suggest that the management at Latitudes on Rio Rancho readdress this situation. We are seeking complete compensation for the expenses incurred from the bad fuel.

***, I'm sorry to hear that your truck has been in the shop. We have not had any other complaints or notifications of others having problems. We sell well over a gallons of diesel a day and at that rate would have had cars and trucks breaking down all over. Can you
please send me a copy of our receipt so we can review it? I have attached the fuel inventory report showing zero water. Please send a copy of the receipt so we can investigate. Thank youRon B***President Latitudes###-###-####

Yes, Thank you. I found the attached receipts after sending the email. I could not respond through your system, so contacted the customer directly to let him know I found the two receipts. We do not believe we have a problem with our fuel. I suggested to the customer we wait for the State to get back with us regarding their test sample. Our stance right now is to deny the claim because we have not had any other complaints on our fuel

Complaint: ***Bad fuel in Dodge Ram
I am rejecting this response because - on May 21, at 7:pm I filled my truck fuel tank with 69.2 gallons of diesel fuel from Latitude filling station at NW 528, Rio Rancho pump #23. We were enroute to our destination in Tennessee after week of traveling. In the morning - upon departure, the truck started coughing and "chugging" - an unusual occurrence for the truck. We continued traveling for approximately hours, and the engine did not return to the 'normal' smother running condition. We stopped at a Loves station and purchased a diesel additive hoping that it would correct what appeared to be 'pistons misfiring". Upon our return to our destination, on May 27, we took the truck to the Dodge service to have a new fuel filter installed as well as an oil change... Costing us @$150.This service did not correct the 'problem' with the coughing and chugging. We returned the truck the truck to the Dodge service on June - to be told that injectors were damaged , needed to be replaced as well as a sensor harness. We have been without our vehicle for over a week, the truck was returned to us on Wednesday, June 14, - costing us nearly $4,000.00.During a search on the internet for Latitudes address, found an article from KRQE Channel 13 regarding an investigation into bad fuel being delivered to Albuquerque service stations - (see below)
***Additionally, we have copies of customer complaints from "*** ***" from a customer on May 17, 2017 complaining of diesel that had gas in it that ruined his Duramax truck, and also on September 17, 2016 a complaint that Unleaded Fuel inside the Diesel that ruined the truck - both of which Latitude denied responsibility. In light of the fact that our vehicle NEVER has had any performance "issues" until we filled our fuel tank with at Latitude filling station on May 21, 2017, we believe that pump #at the Rio Rancho Latitude filling station had bad diesel OR had unleaded gas in the mixture. We are seeking compensation for all of the repair costs that we incurred - all receipts can be provided to youMrRon B*** has requested that we provide him with the receipt for our fuel purchase, which we are happy to do. Please let us know how you wish us to send it to him. Please call me - ###-###-#### if you have any questions -

In September of 2016 we had a common carrier mix his compartments up and put gas into the diesel.  We never denied those claims.  The common carrier paid in excess of $77,000 to satisfy all claims.  We have not had any problems since then.  As we first responded, can you please send us a copy of the receipt?
