I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I received a notice from BBC about case # [redacted] and rejected the offer proposed from [redacted]. The form would not allow me to comment so I am sending this to you via email. 
Below is the last statement from him. I have still not received my refund. He took my down payment and seems to have an excuse each time he promises to return my money. I would like to know how to get my full refund of $650 back in one payment instead of returning it in small extended long term payments. He did not have a problem taking my down payment check of $2300 in one lump sum, but has not made any effort to return it in one lump sum.This has been an on-going difficulty since March.
*In July I received an email from him stating that he would refund the money in 2 weeks. I still have not seen the refund.
*In Aug. I received the email below.
 [redacted], sorry for the delay I won't be able to send the check until next week but I promise I'll get it to you I'm waiting for some checks to come in as well sorry to make you wait but I just don't have it at this moment.......[redacted]

Mr. Laudato said that he is sending a check for $1000 to me. Whenever the full amount of the deposit is returned to me (an additional $1300) I will be satisfied with the complaint that was sent to the Revdex.com. Until that time, the reference complaint remains open.

Per our conversation on 10/15/15 I wrote a check for $215.00 and will send $215.00 next month and $220.00 the following month to pay her back her entire refund.

Review: On March 8, 2015 I contracted with Laudato Home Improvements to refurbish 2 bathrooms in my vacation home in Millsboro De. Mr. Laudato stated that the work would take about 5 days. Mr.. Laudato received a check from me in the amount of $2,300 to purchase the materials for the project.

Initially Mr. Laudato stated that he would begin the project in May of 2015 because he was looking for indoor work for his crew. After numerous delays, lack of calls and messages to inform us of the projects status we finally received a confirmation the he would begin the project on May 25 and then June 5. The project has not started as of June 8.

In response to the complaint I had some personal problems with my health and was hospitalized and as I was recovering from my illness my wife had a heart attack and we went back to Pennsylvaniafor treatment at Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia and we stayed at my daughters house in Pa. while my wife was and still is recovering which I explained to [redacted] because I was not in Delaware I would start the job as soon as I got back when I called to see if I could start on June the 8th she said no and wanted her money back so thats what I'm doing refunding her deposit. I'm sorry I didn't respond to the first notice I missed it thank you for letting me explain my side of the story............[redacted]
