Signed a one-year contract without option to renew. After one-year, business charged my credit card to extend without my consent nor knowledge.My contractual agreement was for one-year from August 11, 2014 to August 10, 2015. The contract clearly states a one-year agreement without an option to renew. Per contract, initial deposit was made followed by 11 monthly payments with the contract termination date of August 10, 2015. There is no mention of renewal or roll over into a monthly plan.I never agreed to extend the contract nor signed a new agreement for continuation. End of the contract deems termination unless consented by myself to renew. I never requested renewal nor agreed to one.Without my knowledge or consent, the business extended the contract and made additional charges to my debit card.When asked what these charges were I was told an email had been sent 2 weeks after the contract expired to notify me that the business was going to continue making charges beyond the contract terms. I never agreed to the email to continue with services beyond the original contract terms. Sending an email does not constitute renewal without customer consent.After calling multiple times and requesting cancellation to stop all charges because I did not agree to extend the contract, they agreed to stop further charges on October 9. Nearly two months after the contract ended. I have also requested a refund for all unauthorized charges beyond the contract termination date. The person I was told to contact is [redacted] Cooke.I called and spoke to [redacted] regarding a refund and was forwarded to [redacted]'s voicemail. I also sent emails to [redacted] with no avail. I followed up with additional emails last week but it continues to go unanswered. [redacted] and perhaps others are clearly ignoring my request for a refund.I am owed $90 from unauthorized charges for two additional months. Future payments were stopped as of that date. She further requested a refund of 2 payments August and September, those payments were sent to accounting to be refunded. As of today they have been submitted to the merchant services for refund.
