[redacted] contacted my office in her search for an apartment for rent. She met with me on June [redacted] 2014 to complete a rental application....

[redacted] was then shown apartments that were within her price point as well as meeting other criteria that she had stated were important. She was not able to qualify for many of the apartments shown to her, as the Landlords in each case rejected her applications. I then showed her the apartment in questioned, she inspected and accepted the apartment in it's current condition, she then paid the security deposit, first month's rent and Broker's fee. She met with the Landlord, was interviewed by the landlord, who after discussions with his wife accepted [redacted] as a tenant; she then signed a one year lease effective as of July [redacted] 2014. The monies given to my office as agent for the Landlord was turned over to him for his rental, security deposit and Broker's fee. [redacted] had to vacate her current apartment and was in a hurry to start the new lease, she asked the future landlord to allow her to move into the apartment ahead of the [redacted], and was allowed to move in a few of her personal belongings. She is currently in court with the Landlord of the apartment in question as she has not paid rents for the months of August and September. Review: I was rented an apartment at [redacted]. By this Real Estate Broker [redacted] whom is the [redacted] of Laughton realty .which his business include residential &commercial Sale/ rentals & Management. He took the sum of $5,800 cash to rent the above name address apartment to me which $ 1,900 was brokers fee and the balance went to the above address [redacted] but it was all a scam I have no stove and broken cabinet, dirty refrigerator, mice, teenagers,broken oven, light fixtures and over flower sewer in kitchen and bath room sinks. please don't believe every thing these people post on line check them first if they are with Revdex.com before you give out money can some one help me as a single mom THANKS for any one that can help me to get my money back it is only one month I am in the above apartment.Desired Settlement: monetary.
