Review: On Wed 9/**/14, I dropped off 7 blouses for dry cleaning at The Laundry City. The ticket confirmed that they would be ready by Saturday 9/**. On Saturday, I went to pick up my blouses, but they were not there. The lady at the desk ([redacted]), was very helpful and called to confirm that they would be delivered by Monday 9/**. On Monday, I went to pick up my blouses, and they still were not there. On 9/**, I went back, still no blouses. On Wednesday 10/*, I returned to pick up my blouses, but one was missing! [redacted] once again called to see where my blouse was, and the service they outsource their dry cleaning to said they would try and find it. Meanwhile, I started speaking about this situation to the [redacted] I explained what happened and requested that my dry cleaning be comped, as the service was delayed, I'd already returned three times to pick up my blouses, and now one was missing.

The manager, explained that if I didn't want to pay, then I wouldn't get my remaining blouse. He would keep it for the trouble of getting my other shirts cleaned. We then engaged in a dialogue where he explained that I would have to pay for my blouses, and he STILL might not find the seventh blouse. He tried to explain how it wasn't his fault that one was missing, and he would still have to pay his outsourcing service.

The conversation escalated, and he ended up laughing in my face and we exchanged unpleasantries. I tried to pay him and he refused then to take my money saying I would never get my seventh blouse back and that I should never return to his establishment. I finally made him take my money and asked him to find my seventh blouse.

Incidentally, this is not the first time I've been asked to pay for the non-delivery of products. In the 5 years I've been a customer at The Laundry City, they've given two of my wash-and-fold bags to a different customer and took a month to locate them, and have lost a pair of jean shorts and pants.Desired Settlement: I would like The Laundry City to find my seventh blouse.

Review: I have been dropping my laundry for a wash and fold service for about a year they lost one of my laundry bag filled with my clothes earlier this year( by lost I mean gave it to another customer) they contacted the other customer and retrieved the bag which sat in the customers house for 3 days. The manager was very mean and yelled at me saying "what are you going to sue me or something go ahead call the police and see what I do" afraid I let it slide. Afraid of oests I rehashed all the clothes myself which takes time and extra money from me. Now this evening 10/**/13 I went to pick up my laundry again same thing happened tone of the managers employees gave my bag to someone else. I said refund me my money and I will pay you when I get my other bag. He said I can't. I said why. He said its in the system already. Then he said what do you want me to do I'm just as [redacted] off as you,,I said why does this happen here. He said that his employee was (in Spanish) an [redacted] He also called me a [redacted] in Spanish to another employee. I said may I speak with the owner and he said no. I said can you give him my number and he said no. Finally after some finagling I got 20 of the 35 I paid since I got one bag he said. Then he said he has to look through the camera to see who took it. The loss of what is in that bag totals about 600+ dollars some of which is my bf work clothing (scrubs) which he will have to buy at work this weekend in order to be able to work. Which will probably cost another 45 or so dollars. He manager was extremely rude and abrasive and extremely unhelpful. He told me it never happens but when I went onto [redacted] I saw a bevy of complaints. A lot dealing with the incompetences of the employees and the managerDesired Settlement: I want my clothing and if I do not get my clothing I want the amount of the clothing that is missing in that bag all my towels and bedding also. Approx 600 and I want the full refund of my service 35.87 and a call from the owner not the manager the owner.

Took me a month to get only $ 30.00 back

Review: The establishment lost my dry cleaning. My ticket was for pick up on December [redacted], 2013. I have gone in every week since then and have been told I will receive a check from their vendor they outsource services to and I have not. Each and every time I go in or call, I am told that they have a phone call and I will get a check in the mail. They are extremely rude and.disrespectfulDesired Settlement: The establishments policy is they will refund up to 10 times the service amount. My total service receipt is $11.99, so I would like the $111.99 that I am owed.
