named Aspen.Aspen was placed in the *** foster home in Knoxville, Tennessee until transport could be made to our facilityThere are three children and two adults in the *** householdThey have been a foster provider for our organization for over four months and have fostered close to dogs to date.Mr*** called several times to expedite delivery of the dog he expressed interest inDue to the snow storm in the Knoxville area, transport of the dog was impossibleOn March 25th, the ***s (my foster provider) were contacted to take their dogs to Union County Veterinary Hospital for the final examination and Health Certificate to be a issuedThe *** family did not show upOur sister shelter contacted the family via email and by phone but they did not return our callsI later learned that Aspen and their special needs child bondedThey decided to keep Aspen, which is entirely out of my controlMr*** became the victim of this chain of eventsI take great pride in my rescue and go to great lengths to make sure that my dogs are not only healthy but available for adoptionI had no way of knowing this was going to happenThe reservation fee was refunded to Mr*** IN FULL on March 29, as soon as I received the information that the dog was NOT going to be returnedMr *** stated that that we did not offer him another dogAfter witnessing Mr***'s behavior, we decided that he was not someone that we wanted to maintain business contact withIf you have any questions at all, I welcome you to contact meThank you for your time and attention regarding this matterSincerely,
