Terrible Cleaning Services ProvidedDamage To HomeI hired Laura's Home N Garden to perform a deep cleaning of my home on 8/5. I left my home while they cleaned, and returned approximately 3 hours later. When I came into my house it was a complete disaster! I made sure everything in my house was picked up and put away where it belonged so they could properly clean. NOTHING was put even remotely close to where it belonged after they cleaned an area. Furniture was moved and not returned to its proper location (chairs, coffee table, swing, etc.). It is understandable and expected to have a few things out of place when someone new comes to clean, but the items I am complaining about should not have happened and were not remotely close to how I left the house.Here is a list of SOME of the problems:Drapes were left laying over furniture and not moved back after wiping blinds.One of our double window blinds was BROKEN and we were not told. We found the broken piece standing behind a curtain panel days later.Dirty clothes hamper was left thrown on top of a clean guest bed.All items on the bathroom counters were moved and left in a pile on the counter.Mantle was not dusted.The toilet seat in the master bathroom was not cleaned, or even wiped off.Blinds were left half open and sideways (on the front of the house). I noticed this when I drove up to our house.Plungers and toilet brushes were left in the middle of the bathroom floors after the floors had been cleaned.They forgot to dust the fan above the coffee table, and then did it last. They then did not re-clean the coffee table, and left it covered in dust.I could not even tell that they had vacuumed.We have a dog, and all dog toys were in her toy basket when I left the house. (The dog was left in her kennel). When I returned, the toys were scattered across the living room floor.These are just a few of the major problems with the cleaning service.I re-cleaned our house later that evening after my husband was off work and able to watch our newborn. I cleaned our house from 9:30 PM to 3:30 AM in order to get it cleaned and picked up from how it was left. I would have rather not had them come clean than to have to pick up behind them and still clean my house.Desired SettlementRefundBusiness Response Does this woman have a date that I did her service? I have been unable to find any record of it. If I had done it, she will have a receipt, and I will have before and after photos documenting the work done.Unfortunately, I have learned from painful experience to do this: as people will claim I did not so things I did, or vise/versa. They will also pick my name out of a list and claim that I was paid for work, when I have never even met this person.
