Review: Had x-rays done about a month ago. I paid for the x-rays and cleaning in full at the time of the visit. Called later and asked for the office to send me my X-rays. The woman who answered the phone said there would be a $10.00 fee. I asked, "Why don't you just send me an electronic file by email?" She said the $10.00 charge is for an electronic copy of the records, they are required by law to keep my x-rays on file for 7 or 8 years.I have already paid for the x-rays, and they are my personal records, and there is no cost to the business to send me a copy via email. I don't feel this is a justified charge, and I want my records.Desired Settlement: I want a copy of my x-rays sent to me by email for free.
