On March 21, 2017, I was given an appointment to see and test drive a Rams Truck, 75,miles for $18K+The appointment was for today, Saturday, March 25, at am The appoint was sby [redacted] , Internet Manager, tel, # [redacted] When I arrived after waiting 5-minutes for the salesman to locate the vehicle in there online inventory, I was told the vehicle did not pass their own inspection and was in the process of being sent to an auction siteI was offered to see other carsI informed the salesman that I was not interested in doing business with a company that uses a bait and switch sales practice and walked out
One year ago I purchased a 2016 Toyota 4Runner SR5 Premium 4x4 from Jones Toyota in Bel Air, MD. From the very beginning there were issues with a vibration in the steering wheel, brake pedal and floor board when traveling between speeds of 30-45mph. It also seems to get worse in colder temps. I had the truck in multiple times to have alignments, road force balancing, tires replaced, drive shaft pulled out, etc. The service manager and head tech all agreed there was an issue but could not find the cause. I waited almost a month until Toyota sent out a corporate tech to look at it. After having it 3 hours he came back that it was "characteristic of the model" and there is nothing wrong. I have to disagree. I owned a 2013 4Runner that did not do this. I have rented two 2016 4Runners on work travel that did not do this.
