We had purchased a LM jettub based on product reviews. When we received it my contractor noticed that the legs were uneven and poorly cut. This would have resulted in stress fractures from the weight of the water/persons. It was very noticeable that I took photos and sent them to the company with a request to repay me the $150 I paid my contractor to cut and level the legs under the tub. I got one response indicating that somehow I was mistaken but with the photo evidence it was hard for them to dispute it was so noticeable. It was either a production flaw or more likely workman did not take care in cutting the legs evenly. Again, I heard nothing after the fact. Very disappointing.

Review: My husband and I bought a new whirlpool through Lows that was a Laurel Mountain Whirlpool.Was installed and leaked.We worked with Laurel mountain to resolve the problem.They had us call "[redacted]"whom said if we hired a local plumber Laurel Mountain Whirlpools would reimburse us for labor of insured and bonded plumber.We had [redacted] plumbing talk to [redacted], and overnight the parts needed.Took several overnight part deliveries and plumber appointments,but did get the leak taken care of.We appreciate Laurel Mountain working with us to get the problem solved.That was 3-19-2013.We have faxed the plumbing bill,we paid-309.53 three times.[redacted] of Laurel Mountain said the fax did not go through.So I sent a certified letter through the US postal service that had to be signed for.He said he did received the receipt of the check we wrote to the plumber.Still waiting to be reimbursed the $309.53.Desired Settlement: Would appreciate that Laurel Mountain Whirlpools honor their commitment to reimburse my husband and I for plumbing bill-309.53.Tried calling [redacted] but does not return my call.

We have researched this complaint and our deepest apologies to the customer for the delay in receiving her reimbursement. We have checked on the issue and the check will be sent out soon. After receiving her invoice we simply failed to get a copy to the right department—it was a simple human error and we are sorry it happened. We are a small company and we try our best to be sure our customers are happy with their tubs. We do try to take care of our customers in a timely manner but in this case it just didn’t happen promptly. Again our apologies to our customer and we will issue her check soon.

I am considering purchasing a Laurel Mountain whirlpool at Lowes and find the above complaint very concerning.
You have a great selection and seem to be high quality, but service matters!
I have owned a Maax Aker tub and they sent someone out immediately, no hassle.
