I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint I* *** *nd have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
1) Home Ventilator Services never called me or left a message stating her errorThis is a flat-out lieHad I received a phone call stating that she realized, upon examining my file, realized she had made an error, I would have let the whole issue drop.2) When she offered to send me a print-out, I agreedI did not refuseI told her I wanted a copy and that I wanted a copy forwarded to *** as well.3) I did not tell her I was filing a complaint until the end of the phone call when she told me her company was about to send my case to collectionsWhen she resorted to threats, I decided I would do all I could do and to reach out to the appropriate agencies which help consumers against abusive companies.4) She has never reached out to me for a check number or any proof of paymentI am including the proof with this responseYou will find a scan of the cleared check as well as the history of the payment from the bank

In regards to the customer complaint we received on the account I will address all issues.[redacted], LLC was sold to [redacted] on July 12, 201.7. The company that was originally [redacted], LLC is now Home Ventilator Services, LLC.All insurance and patient balances before the sale of company on July 12,...

2017 Home Ventilator Services will complete.I spoke with the billing department about [redacted] insurance processing and was notified that the patient shouldn't have been billed. That the patient does pay the insurance company and theinsurance will then send payments to the providers. In error this balance was billed to the patient as it was applied to deductible and posting was in error. I did offer to the patient a detail summary of her account I could mail her for showing the insurance what she had paid and she declined. She told me she was [redacted] that she is getting double billed for her equipment. I will apologize in regards to disputing that we do not notify the insurance company of payments made on accounts but in this case we are to do so. I did call patient back on October 12, 2017 and left message to explain my error and discuss check payment.[redacted] has not compensated Home Ventilator Services nor previous business [redacted] for the account. All claims were submitted as a deductible and no funds have been applied.We will not deny the agreement thru [redacted] insurance and will not be billing the patient again on her account. All billing will be conducted thru the insurance.In regards to the payment the patient made, she states the check cleared her bank on Oct 10, 2017. When I spoke with her on October 11, 2017 the posting had not been completed for October 10, 2017 as it was the next day after deposit. As of today we still have no record of this payment being received. Will be more than glad to investigate this if patient will provide the check number and address the payment was mailed to.My tone in trying to speak with the patient did change as she wouldn't let me speak to her without interrupting and threatening the company. She was very angry thru the conversation and was not willing to discuss calmly. She told me I would be getting a complaint from the Revdex.com and also she may contact a lawyer. I tried to speak to her again and she told me "you will get a [redacted]mplaint" and hung up on me.There was no threat that I would send her account to collections. I did notify her it would be going if payment plan was not set up or paid in full. This is the process in which we try to help our customers accounts from becoming delinquent. I was notified by the insurance department to contact [redacted] at [redacted] I called and left message requesting she return my call.If there are further questions in regards to this account please feel free to contact me at the phone number listed below.
